Nice price!
great price but need to really add in the cost of DLC to justify buying this. Maybe if the Death Star map comes out in in the Autumn as planned it might be wroth taking a look at. It could be £10 by then (joke)

It may actually be near that price by then, going by the 100s on the shelves currently at my local cex.

Imagine all the sad faces who buy this for 20 quid then play it.
It's a good game. Got 85% trophies currently and its kept me busy for a while. Some of the online modes are annoying. Enjoy Blast and Supremacy though.
People loved to bash Street Fighter V for "little content"
Yet this has even less content and online only..

Well at least it's coming in one piece and with working servers... Unlike the game you used for comparison.

Haha 87% now! Got 18 hours 20 minutes played on the MP and probably 10-15 hrs for missions/survival.
not worth supporting at all

really shady EA practices mean you should avoid this game to let the big companies know a full priced game deserves to have a full 1 player mode
not a F2P multiplayer charged at £50

Title says £19.99
I'm selling a brand new sealed Star Wars Battlefront for PS4 for £26.99
I got this on Sunday and on Monday, I traded it back in. Really not my game and I enjoyed the first two.
Down right refused to buy this game new as EA need to learn a lesson they cant sell half a game for £50 and then charge extra for DLC when ALL the dlc should be free at a minimum to bulk up the half a game they've sold at full price.
However my local CEX is selling it for £25 and i couldnt resist, I figure its second hand so EA doesn't get a penny and at £25 i think is what it should have cost brand new so i'm very happy with that price for a bit of multiplayer fun. The visuals in this game really are beautiful, you can tell they've spent a lot of time making it look great, Only played a few hours but i'm really enjoying it and i've only played 2 of the modes so far so i can see it lasting me a while
I said I'd bite the bullet at £20, maybe I'll wait for the game of year addition.
I'm going to get this when its £20 on Xbox. I haven't played it but it seems like a lot of the negativity is from more 'committed' gamers or 'hardcore Star Wars experts' who can spend hours in front a console due to being at school or 'between jobs'. Unfortunately, not everyone is in the position to put 100 hours into a game to get some rare camo.
As for DLC, The very same people seem to have no problem paying for Battlefield Premium, or a COD Season pass and there are plenty of free updates coming out besides the paid expansion.
Actual balanced online reviews for this are quite positive. By all accounts if you don't go in with an EA vendetta, and you like a game that's accessible and fun, it should be a goer.
If I'm proved wrong, I'll come back and eat humble pie.
Got this on PC, i like it. But yes it lacks content and the DLC is a ripoff at £40 quid. If season pass was £20 it would be acceptable.
Think i will wait for free to playX) Dont know what jamesvolunteer means about balanced reviews but most say the same thing with varying scores depending on how friendly or intimidated they are towards the companies producing the game. Pretty with lack of content. For a truly balanced review i look at angry joe on youtube. Dont always agree with everything he says but at least he breaks everything down into whats good and bad about a game, instead of glossing over. In the end it all depends on the consumer as to what they like and are willing to pay for. As much as I love star wars, I personally prefer a more interesting game im not going to get bored with after a few hours.
Do you need to pay to access the server as well?
Need PS+ to play online, so yeah

Im not sure Angry Joe is as balanced as you think. Recently he suggested that in BF Hardline, the enemies use a similar sound when the get arrested. he then used multiple bits of footage and edited the sound so it looked like the game literally does use the exact same sound effect, which it doesnt. thats just getting a cheap laugh. I like his reviews, but he's coming feom the angle Im talking about. The more serious gamer with plenty of time on their hands.
By balanced reviews im talking about actual players on Youtube, those that play the game and dont have a vested interest in how the company does. I never trust journalists, no matter how much they try and look/sound like me.

Love these £50 comments. Take it you only look at Games price? Was around £35-40 at release at many places. There is basically no story mode so that's why everyone think it's half a game. Fair enough, personally had around 28-30 hours of enjoyment out of this. The season pass is overpriced but the base game is decent in my opinion.

the funny thing is loads of people complaining about the lack of story will rave about Battlefield or sink hours into COD and never touch the single player in those games. Theres a lot of peer pressure around what youre supposed to think about games these days unfortunately.

£35-£40 is waaayyyy too much for a multiplayer only game, People forget multiplayer aspects of games are added extras, i can understand when a game is single player only with a big sprawling campaign but to be multiplayer only takes the main part away. Take COD for example as much hate as it gets it is a really great value game, A decent 10+ Hour single player mode, then a cracking Zombies mode and then on top a fully featured multiplayer. £25 is skirting the edge tbh this game should have been in the same category as Rocket league £14.99. I've been playing it the past 2 days now and tbh i've seen everything it has to offer already, yes i'm enjoying it and its a good pick up and play game but i still dont think ill get £25 worth of gaming out of it.

Everyone always says about this game "EA have ruined it, there's no single player, you keep getting killed.....I am enjoying it though".
if you can get it for 20 quid and the DLC for 40, thats loads of stuff for (gets calculator out) 60 quid. Making it cheaper or around the same as COD or BF.
"Suitable for Jedi and Padawans" it says on the blurb. Reading reviews and comments about this, its quite hard to tell the difference.
Just that it says that is a clue that 'FRAGDEAMON666' might not be into the game so much. It's actually about time there was a decent shooter made with not only comic book guy in mind as the target audience in my opinion.
Also, Titanfall is amazing. Accesible, online only. Got mixed reviews etc. Luckily not everyone just thinks what they think they are supposed to think about it and there's still a thriving community on there.
