Great opportunity to get the latest Star Wars game for only £1.99 if you have £20 of nectar points saved up. Simply go to customer services and double the £20 of nectar points to a £40 voucher to use in entertainment. Just the additional £1.99 to pay

Just be aware, this game has no story mode

so do you have to be online to play this
I know, only killer is the lack of a solo campaign mode

Yes, it's online only.
Great opportunity...

I dont get these deals at all. Its like saying the game is full price but if you have a £40 birthday voucher get it for £1.99.

So technically the deal is the game £41.99

But surely if it makes even ONE person aware [who has Nectar Points] that didn't already know, it was worth posting.

I wouldn't have bothered getting it myself without the 'Double Up' scheme this [long] weekend (promo is 18th-24th) due to the reviews stating it starts to lose it's appeal after the 10 hour mark, but £1.99 after all the shopping i've done over the last year... Hell Yeah i'll go for that!
So is this game not worth having if you don't use the online play?
Thanks for the heads up! Will be going to get it as soon as!

It's basically just mindless games but it is fun if you got a mate to play online with

these is only online play, so don't really have any options here
Likely2

Yes, it's online only.

Not entirely, there are single player modes as well against bots.

Not true

It's not online only. It has single player just not a campaign. Just the same as the old battlefront
Thanks I didn't know about this!
Why is this cold..??!! Cracking game judging from the beta I played and youtube clips of full game I've watched. It has single player and co-op missions (split screen locally with a friend too..) as well as 40 player MP..AND you can play as your favourite Star Wars characters, get to fly the Millennium Falcon and Slave 1 ships so what's not to like..?!
I'm off to Sainsburys tonight to bag my copy with my nectar points. Also got COD BO3 last night with a £40 double-up voucher, then on way out noticed a different person on the desk so tried again and was given another £40 voucher ready to pickup Battlefront later today...result..!
I think some people have misunderstood this offer, myself included initially, it's actually a great deal.

I've just walked out with a copy of Battlefront, and it has cost me £21.99 in total

Remember, 4,000 of your Nectar points which are usually worth £20 (1,000 points = £5) are now worth double, so you're only using 4,000 points, so in effect you're getting £20 off he price!

It maybe because the deal is the nectar double up not what you spend it on and unless you have the points the game cost £42 which is a bit rubbish.

Pretty much. There are some single player modes such as survival, hero mode and training. But the majority of the game is meant to be online only. So stay away unless you want the game for online only

£42 is about the going rate for this game from most places so not rubbish. What's the difference between posting a Tesco clubcard boost deal and this nectar double-up deal..? (apart from approx. 500 degrees of heat from all the Tesco lovers on here..) both give you double the value of your points..Thanks OP you deserve better than this...

Going rate is not a deal. I also think the Tesco boost deals are rubbish tbh for the same reason and a lot of them go cold, for the record like for those I have not voted on this. I have no issue with this being here but it is a deal not everyone can get so some my vote cold on that basis. Personally I don't know why people get too hung up on heat, when I post something (that I haven't been beaten too) if it helps a few people then I don't really care what temperature it gets to.

Just picked my copy for what last week was 20quids worth of vouchers plus £1.99.

Chars for the heads up OP!
Thanks op, great deal, will go pick up a game tomorrow, maybe not battlefront though. No idea why this deal has gone baltic, bizzare!
got it today, did my double, also had preorder which got me 200 nectar points!
Thanks OP, would have missed this if you had not posted. Got 2 stores close by so picked up Star Wars Battlefront and Fallout 4 on the cheap. Happy days - just hope the OH hasn't already picked them up as x-mas prezzies or its doghouse for me (again)

I wasn't aware of this double up offer until seeing about it on here. I'm sure there are others who don't know about it so definately worth sharing.

I now have a new game to play this weekend
I was thinking of posting this. I think it's a good deal if you were going to buy it anyway and have the points. Got mine!
Thanks, it's a great deal - cost me a total of £21.99! Happy with that and cheaper than I could of got it anywhere else. Heat from me.
Got tomb raider for free, yeah hey, thanks op, would not have known and this deal is still Siberian when it should be subtropical!
