Never read the books but for this price I would give one or two of them a go
Look like the set I got from the Works - 3 for £10. Good prices
Nice one. What's it about m8?
They aren't bad. The writing style takes a bit of getting used to.
Chuck swinepig is a twisted crazed sjw nut job and these books suck big time . Save your money and buy older star wars books second hand instead of this garbage
You need a high tolerance for the author's personal politics to enjoy these books, he's rather extreme and uses his writing to express his views. These views were extreme enough to eventually get him fired by Disney.

I've heard the best Star Wars books were the Thrawn ones, should probably read them at some point, despite them being officially non-canon now.

Agree with you, but never the less good books to read for what happens after the death star does boom. And yeah, Thrawn is definitely my favorite star wars book series.

Tarkin is solid as well.

Also, I really enjoyed Lost Stars, even though it was sold as a YA romance novel (which it isn't)

Lost Stars is by Claudia Gray. I also highly recommend her other SW books. Leia: Princess of Alderaan, one of the best I've read (and I read a lot of the old EU), and Bloodline, which is set 5 years before The Force Awakens and really fills in the picture of where the New Republic is and what happens to change things. Both excellent reads.
I should of asked earlier, are there only 2 books available in Aldi or did the OP just get a quick picture as proof? I might take a look after work and confirm if my local has any.

I only saw these two, the original Aftermath book wasn't there when I looked, but maybe someone already nabbed it - you might find it elsewhere 😁

Aftermath wasn't in ours either a week or so ago. Just the sequels
Plenty of all 3 of them available at Newton Mearns. Plus a poster of what else is available...

Assassins creed books available in Bootle - Liverpool branch. I picked up aftermath and life debt. No sign of empires end 😪 I would advise people that the books were hidden in a jumble sale type of order - a mess basically. Dig about and you might get lucky.
