The Star Wars complete saga is finally being released on Blu Ray this September. I know its a bit premature but if you take advantage of the 15% of code below, this works out at under £10 per film as well as all the added extras.

Use the 15% code located here (http://www.hotukdeals.com/vouchers/15-off-video-games-cds-dvds-and-blu/850475) to get it at this price.

Or less than £20 per worthwhile film..

(_;)

Can't see it cheaper anywhere else. Voted hot.

I tried my own voucher code I received this morning after signing up, and basically it doesn't work on this deal..

Dunno why I bother! Surely this site is judged on deals, not quality of the product because that boils down to people's opinions.

£60 for a boxset of 6 films plus added extras is a good deal, especially as you can't get it cheaper anywhere else, surely that deserves heat?! Or have I completely misunderstood the point of this site, being called HOT UK DEALS n all!!

voted hot but not worth the money IMHO

No love for the newer of the films, but as someone's said already. It's about the cheapest atm! Hot

I agree with your sentiment, but EVERY Star Wars deal has gone colder than the planet Hoth.

spammed as voucher already posted

It is a good price for a 9 disc set if you absolutely, positively have to own it on day one.

I think a lot of the reticence stems from the facts that

a)just about every box set released at the moment seems to go firesale at least temporarily in the first couple of months,

b)there *is* still a lot of ill will (justified or not) aimed at the prequels/special editions.

c)there is still not a clear idea what these discs will actually contain regarding versions of the movies and the contents of those bonus discs.

I'm kind of wait and see myself and for vast swathes of the last 30 odd years I've been star wars obsessive.

Never understood the hate for 1-3, just nerd haters hating as per usual, miserable gits.

Some people on this site need to have a word with themselves and understand what this site is aimed for.

The deals posted here are not for people to vote on based on their opinion of the product. So just coz you dont like the second trilogy doesn't make a deal cold. A deal is based solely on its price comparable to other retailers.

Apart from anything else, I dont think £60 is a good deal anyway. I dont think the release will get that much interest as EVERYONE has them on DVD now. So £60 to upgrade is not a good price. Expect the price to crash before release...

Off subject, but does anyone know if/when idiana jones blu ray will be coming out? (the original trilogy)

I liked your comment up until this bit.........surely that would go for ALL blu-rays?? Most blu-ray films are just upgrades of their dvd equivalents as its still a relatively new technology!

I don't think people are voting cold because they're not interested in it but because it's still 8 months away from being released and it's been posted about 5 times already in the last week!

why don't peps wait till September then buy it,probably cheaper and you get to keep sixty qiud in you pocket till then?

Then dont bother - you must have seen all 17 other deals posted for this going to minus 400!

Hardly. Many Blu-Rays come out are new films obviously. And you may see old films released on Blu-Ray but the majority would not command anywhere near as much interest as a Star Wars release. Certainly to the point that people would be looking for a pre-order price 9 months in advance to upgrade any other films. People only upgrade to Blu-Ray when they see a good price for it.

But how many Star Wars fans DONT have them on DVD already...??? Exactly! I rest my case.

This is likely to be the biggest blu-ray release of the year, so the supermarkets are probably going to be selling this for £50 max when it comes out. This deal is the best price now though...
