Sorry, hot. ^.^ Quidco from HMV too, which you don't get at Amazon. I believe that's at a boosted 6% until the 11th or something.

£48 on tesco with 8.08% TCB

WTF? Students can afford this????
Hope the tories put the interest rate up on student loans and bring the earnings threshold down.
Factor that in with yer quidco and student discount!
Right, that's that off my chest. Carry on.

Quick question ... I've got £40 on my HMV Gift Card to use instore. If I buy this and pay the extra £9 in cash - can I still use the "£5 Credit back on a £20+ spend" via my Priority Moments? ... I'm afraid they'll say that I'm only technically paying £9, but really the bill is £49 and I'm paying £40 via my gift card, but I'm still SPENDING over £20, it's just not all cash ... Thoughts?

Really hope you're joking. If not, stfu.

Fyi, student discount is no longer given, it's only for people who activated it before - they ended the scheme around 3 years ago.

Yes it's friday afternoon, yes i'm joking and yes you can now 'stfu' as you put it.

I've seen the blu-rays of these. Brilliant!
Question is, what order to watch them in?
Original 3 first or follow the storyline?

If you've seen them before, I'd say Episode 1 - 6 but if a first time viewing, it has to be 4-6 then 1-3. And yes, I noted that you've seen them before, when I said you, I was being general.

I just did exactly that. Had a £20 gift card having bought £80 worth of goods and used the O2 Priority moments. We bought £80 worth of presents today including the fantastically priced item the OP mentions.

Paid using the gift card and the extra £63, then got another £20 gift card using the O2 priority moments!!!! Its unbelievable the HMV deal.

All this after the wife and I having a BOGOF breakfast at Carluccios in the Trafford Centre (incidentally the breakfast Calazoni was fantasic) ALSO on the O2 Priority Moments deals.

Good Deal Great Spot and with the O2 Priority moments shouldn't be missed

How can they call it complete.....

COLD Holiday special not included.

I want cooking with the wookies!

Seriously though I think this is pretty much the going rate so not going to vote.

Thanks! Good to know ... Also - did you get a £5 voucher for each £20 you spent or just one for the total transaction?

In effect yes spent £83 and got a gift card with £20 on it (£5 for every £20 spent I think its madness!). If you wanted it split onto a number of cards to give as gifts I am sure they will

Cool - thanks for clearing that up - I'm thinking that I'll round up by buying something for £11 in-store so I have "spent" £60 and for the extra £20 spend I'll get £15 back in HMV credit.

Happy days! ... Keep on smiling.

Indeed you will! Then spend £5 with your £15 to get another £5 voucher it could be never ending LOL

It's £1 cheaper at Tesco, rather have the £10 gift card from HMV though!

Definitely hot for me!

Had this confirmed by a manager in the Wigan HMV only 1 £5 voucher per transanction over £20. So if I spent £20 twice on 2 different transactions I would get 2 x £5 voucher, but if I spent £50 in 1 transaction I would only get 1 £5 voucher. Didn't matter either way as they had sold out of boxset anyway

The promo is definitely a £5 voucher for every £20 spent in store (except for consoles, iPods etc.).
Either way, cracking price for the Star Wars boxset...

Try: 4,5,1,2,3,6 for first timers.

Got this yesterday in HMV Edinburgh and can confirm that I was given £5 for EACH £20 I spent.

I bought this boxset along with a cheapo Christmas CD for £2.99 & a book for £8.99. The total being over £60 resulted in getting a £15 gift card back. The lady did say that the £5 should only be on HMV spend (book was from their Waterstones part of shop) but she put through the extra £5 anyhow.

Saw they had the complete Alien boxset on bluray for £18 so may pop in and add the £3...if I pick up another cheapo CD though I'd get another £5, lol.

I paid using voucher and cash at till...someone asked if it would still be given if you were paying using a voucher, answer is yes!

Thanks for this, picked it up today picked up the last one, glad i asked as it had been put away under the counter but they sold it me anyway
