if you've not got the Destiny 2 player starter set, they have that for 5.95 too
These are out of date for the "competitive and tournament" scene, hence the price. (just in case that's your Jam)

BUT if you're playing with kids, mates or just down your local shop or club they are still fine.

It's a fun game with lots of different decks to build and combos to try. You can also give the kids the dice to muck about with for this price!

I ended up buying one of each type of box to build loads of different combos with.
Last cards i collected were Pokémon back in 1998 i dont need these or have any use for them, but i want to order them for some nostalgic reason must resist
I’d love a casual card game but reading into this it seems a bit hardcore and never ending collections

If you're just playing at home or with friends then it doesn't need to be. Get the 2 player set and one/two booster boxs and you have enough to play with lots of deck variety.

The game itself is pretty easy to play and learn.

It's only if you want to play competitively that it becomes a HUGE money sink. A friend of mine has spent £100's on it. My grand total £20 lol.

I’ve done exactly what you suggested. Starter game and 2 boosters so now I get to relive my youth opening up packs. 😁

I don't think you will be disappointed. Its a solid game and with the crazy clearance prices it's not really that much of a an investment. Much like Xwing miniatures was when they reissued it, got some absolute bargains then
Picked up the 2p starter for christmas, had these boxes waiting in the basket while I gave it some plays.
Pulled the trigger yesterday as it seems ideal for casual play & also for my daughters to do a sort of Story Cubes with
