Star Wars Ep I, II and III just £7 each at Woolies SAVING £12.99 per DVD!!

Whilst on the Woolworths website I discovered that they are selling the following Star Wars DVDs for just £7 each DELIVERED!!

Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

I think this is a great price as I've been trying to get these films at a reasonable price for ages and I've never found them for any less than £17.99 each

They've also got Episodes IV, V and VI for £9 each, or a box set of all three at £28.00

These are available for FREE home delivery or collection in store (not sure if you can purchase them directly in store)

I got sith from choicesuk for £4 ages ago.

These have been around £5.99 each for a while on hmv but prices recently gone up

thats the episodes 4-6 at £5.99, not 1-3. this is the cheapest I can find for 1-3

Still going to wait a bit longer for price to drop

Anyone know why they havn't released 1-3 as a boxset?

You would have to pay me to own the Prequels. Such is their lameness.

Seems like an OK at best price in regards to the deal.

My fav is episode 1 - bit weird though as everyone hates it but i think its the ebst of the prequels

We are still waiting for the boxset of Ep 1-3 but i might be tempted at £21 for the 3 dvds.

Sorry Claire not the cheapest I'm afraid, but thanks for posting & welcome to HUKD.

(Keep an eye on HMV, and if you don't mind some risk ChoicesUK for these being back circa £4.99/5.99 again, with discount links, codes, and quidco making it even cheaper).

At the moment this IS actually the cheapest, so the OP is right. But as others say, it's not the cheapest they've been in the past. But as a current deal, this shouldn't be so cold.

The next-cheapest for Episodes I & II is £12.99 at Play.com

Possibly the problem lies in the fact that when these were about the £5-6 mark anyone that wanted them bought them & the more casual film (rather than Sci-fi) fans figured they'd give 'em a shot too. Surely this would mean that while this is the best current price the market for these titles is now quite small??!?

The pertinent point is that these were £5-6. It's been hard getting these cheap recently and people are paying about the same for second hand copies on eBay.

Voting cold because there's been a better past deal seems a little pedantic.

If that was thrown in my direction I was pointing out that MAYBE the market has diminished & offered POSSIBLE reasons for cold voting (other than people being sheep, assuming it must still be cheaper elsewhere or just for the hell of it)...I didn't bother voting one way or the other as although it's the best current price I personally don't think it's that great a deal because price reductions on certain titles seem to be cyclical & I can see these titles being lower in 3 for £15, etc type promo's again in the fairly near future....
(last bit's not fact...just my opinion!!?!?)
