Great deal paid a lot more on Amazon when first released

Good price, paid £18 for this earlier in the year.

Also on Amazon same price

Great price, saw this the other day, noticed it was on amazon for the same price amazon.co.uk/Sta…8-3

Take a pinch of retro, add some retro. voila, star wars vinyl.

fun fact.. last week, vinyl sales overtook digital downloads in the UK

I still have mine from 1977 I think

Probably from a digital source, facepalm.jpg

These look awesome. May have to pick one up.

Presentation and disk looks pretty but not sure if I could listen to dah-dah-d-dah-d-dah for 2 hours. Get the rolling stones 64-71 double vinyl from amazon for £11.99.

... which is digitally remastered, soooooo, pointless.

Nice, I have these and I put them in big picture frames they look amazing, dunno what was paid but seems like a bargain this.

I'm not an expert but if its still from the original source does that necessarily mean it's a lower fidelity?

Most albums from the 80's onwards will have an element of 'remastering' The Star Wars Album has probably been enhanced at some point in the process. There are only a few vinyl pressing companies around now and they are struggling with output and quality. From a purely enjoyment factor I would listen to Led Zep, The Stones, John Coltrane etc - rather than Star Wars Dah-Dah-D- Dah -Dah-D Dah. But the artwork is nice.
I wonder what a original 70's pressing of the Stones album in mint condition would be ?

thank you. purchased, hope amazon price match the empire strikes back!
