Is this the first time this game has been below £20 for PC?

Don't forget a further 2% discount PAYPAL2020 and Quidco as well .
Still a stuttery mess on PC?

CPU - i7-9700k
GPU - 1080ti
RAM - 16GB
Storage - Samsung 970 EVO SSD
Display - Asus PG348Q (1440p ultrawide)

The game is very demanding on high settings.

Weird you don't experience it but I guess that's the magic of PC's.
Good price but I'm waiting for it to hit origin access.

I'm running R5 3600 and 5700XT and it struggled at 1440p.

I would always recommend ISLC when someone mentions Win 10 and micro stutter in games-it works.

I know of this tool and why I would need it, but this seems more of an engine problem.

Uhm, from the dev of Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU), interesting, I'll give it a try.
Enjoyable game, had no problems with it (GTX1080).

Maybe a direct x issue. In bf5, performance varies quite a bit from 11 to 12
got one

Playing with an 8700K at 5.2GHz and a 2080 at 2050mhz installed on an nvme ssd and I still get stutters when looking at new areas.

Turning off v sync helps and also if playing at 144fps the stutters drop to like 72 so it's not so bad, not a big judder like at lower fps.

The game is good enough to make up for the stutters but it is a shame that they're there.

If not that, then the simplest method is doing it manually through the Microsoft 'RAMMap' application. It's free as part of the 'Sysinternals Suite', or also as a standalone (downloads directly from Microsoft). Simple and lightweight, though perhaps a little dated. In general the standby list is good, and it should be filled. The longer your system is up the more it'll fill. Empty it once when you're about to start a demanding game, and that's all really.

Yep def weird by the sounds of it! There are a couple if other things to consider;

1) Audio drivers can play havoc with game stability, more than most realise. I would assess at your audio drivers to see if this helps.

2) Another more common problem is if you use a controller for PC, this in certain games has a conflict when switching to registering input from the keyboard and mouse. I cant speak for this game but try tuning off the 'use controller' option if you dont have a need for it.

Hope you find a solution

I think theres a similar feature on the Razer game booster app
Still advertised at £19.99 but coming up as £21.99 when put into the basket. CDKey support claim this is normal (!). Are they known for dodgy practises when it comes to pricing?

Edit - I have now received an e-mail from them pretty much confirming that it is normal for them to have a different price in the basket to the price advertised and that the correct price is £21.99!
