I'm on a bit of a star wars kick at the moment and I noticed the old kotor games are only £3.19 for the 2 these days.

Huge games, obviously they've aged but I took a look at a few videos and yknow they've aged gracefully I think, plus there's high res mods available.

This offer lasts for 2 more days

Never played the second one. I've got it on Steam in my pile of shame! Loved the first though!

I'm currently trying to work out a good controller companion setup cos my pc is going into my tv and I don't have a desk so kb+m is a bit of an uncomfortable experience.. Until then kotor seems unplayable.. I know kotor2 has controller support but I wanna play through both lol

I played the second when it was new but not the first so it's good to go back. They seem to have aged really well visually (plus I popped in some HD retextures of Main characters, clothes, weapons etc) , but lack of controller support for pc is making kotor 1 challenging to get to grips with, got controller companion but the current setups I've found aren't any good.
It's well worth the price, two fantastic games, one of only a handful of games I've bought over multiple systems.
KOTOR II has steam workshop support. Everything from HD textures, to restored lost content. Absolute must.

The only game where I've actively decided to make and play the evil choices.

Even though I bought both I've decided to try and emulate the first one.. The kb+m controls are absolutely awful.. The file structure seems to be the same too so going to see if the mods work, the xbox kind of was a pc made for games

I tried the original Kotor from Stream a couple of years ago but was unplayable, crashing all the time. Have you had any problems with this version?
