Been looking out for this Millennium Falcon toy to appear online again as Argos haven't had any stock for a while but it has just become possible to reserve to collect into store. As an added bonus it's also part of the Half-Price toy sale at the moment as normally £59.99. 5 days to deliver to store for me but at least it appears possible again. Hope this helps.

Nice but does it open up? Shame if it doesn't but good price

none in stock at my local stores

Great deal! Just reserved for pick up on Tuesday!

My dad bought one of these for my older brother from a car boot in 1982 or something, still in the attic somewhere along with one of those walkers and figures..and a weird tv tennis console, I use to play with them more than he did X)

Is this one that opens up? Don't think it is as doesn't say on the description but thought would as if anyone knew.8)

Seems to be a bit of confusion about the size of it. The description says it is 2 1/2 feet long but the details say the dimensions are
H26.7, W34.3, D6.4cm.... which is 13 inches long. Can someone confirm the size of it? Also as some other people have asked, does this model open up?

Any news if this opens? Really hope it does would be great for my collection as i only just started collecting star wars only got 3 figures which is pathetic compared to most

If it's only 13" long, then the kid in the photo has some major growth issues!!! (i.e. it looks 2.5ft long to me - so presumably the dims you refer to are inches not cms)

Hot! Managed to reserve one for my son but would love to know if it opens up too??

I've emailed them to find out.

I would suggest not as there are 4 pics on the Argos site and none of them are of it open

The EAN (barcode number) on the argos website is the same as one on Amazon price at £24.99, but the Amazon one looks much smaller.

The pictures aren't of a Lego MF.

Cheaper in 1984. Cold.

I bet the quality of this one is nothing like the real thing from back then!

To be fair, the 1980s Star Wars toys were very basic and minimal moving parts. I had the original Millenium Falcon and pretty much every other Star Wars toy when I was a kid - so wish I hadn't let me parents sell the whole lot for peanuts!

The one Star Wars toy that I owned that I've always wanted as an adult was the AT-AT Walker - now that was a cool!!!!

the ean number seems to be for this on a few other sites...
shop-find.com/pro…e2/

actually, scrap the above, it was an affiliate site. the same ean is used for this on argos's site too ..

This doesn't open up but it is 2 and half feet long. Huge display piece

I've just reserved one, but a quick google starwars.com/new…con says it isn't out until November. The original Argos price of £59.99 is about right though, so who knows. Hopefully whoever is first to collect (I can't get mine until Monday) can confirm either way!

Dont be thinking this is the Hasbro Falcon because it isnt.

These aren't the milleneum Falcons you're looking for.

Thank you reserved my boys are mad on stars wars x

The vehicle can detect Imperial ships with its rotating radar dish, and fend them off with the rotating cannon that lifts and lowers! Head for the stars with this awesome Millennium Falcon vehicle!

It's the perfect home defense security clearly!

Yes it is the hasbo falcon, it's a Walmart exclusive in the USA, however what it's not is for the 3.75" figures, so it doesn't open up it just a solid toy, the recent Hasbro x-wing (£39.99) is also in the same series, known as The Hero Collection.

Thanks op.

I just gave birth....I thought it was the lego one

Pretty surprised to see this appearing on our shores so quickly after the U.S... We have to wait flippin ages for the Black Series figures to follow suit!

I still have all my star wars toys from my childhood, my 4yo was asking to play with them only yesterday. I do feel mean when I tell him that some toys aren't for playing with!

"She'll make point five past lightspeed. She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid. I've made a lot of special modifications myself."

Foote anyone interested in the Lego millennium falcon, Smyths toy store have thecheapest price this weekend as 20% off star wars Lego and £12 off if you spend over £100. Price £95.99 so so pleased my little boy can have this as maximum budget! Father Christmas sorted!

I can safely say you are missing the point. Ask any Star Wars fan, any real Star Wars fan, they'll tell you it doesn't matter whether it's got batteries, lights, opens up or is just for display - Star Wars is Star Wars.

Extra e-points available for the reference.

Spot on. In fact older Star Wars fans, the ones who were kids when they came out, would prefer it without all the bells and whistles. Just the fact it looks so good, almost like a model from ILM, is enough. I could see someone giving this a custom paint job and it would look amazing.
The X-Wing in same range is another thing altogether though. That lacks detail and the wings being moulded together removes a critical display option. That's £35 at Argos but should be £20 maximum

Everyone will await the person to collect the first one, lol

So...this is basically a big hunk of plastic, shaped like the Falcon, that doesn't do anything - and ive missed the point...
