It really did!

maybe in the Star Wars universe it is a measure of time, how do you know :P
Damn! If only I hadn't spent all of my star wars allowance on this

It's still valid , the Kessel run is a smugglers route and Han took a shortcut!

Thats the average flight time for most quadcopter/helicopter on a 1/2/3s battery.
That's a quite a price you would expect at least a camera for 99squid
i don't think the one in the video and this are the same thing, the controller in the video is completely different
Turn the ship around, we know where Luke is.....

Fair enough, so no point in buying any of them then!
Agree on the above, a great novelty but exactly that. Nearly £100 for a bit of foam which looks (ish) like the MF, but only flies for less than 8 minutes. I love a bit of Star Wars and have spent some cash on the new stuff but even for me this seems like a little 'meh'. You can get a quadcopter for about £40 with the same flight time but only difference is that is doesn't look like the MF.
Wow this is a bit the actual Millennium Falcon! You know in as much as a few toilet rolls and some Cornflakes packets covered in white paper which I've coloured in also looks about as much like the Millennium Falcon....
Banned
B*ll*cks to the millenium falcon...... I did a sh*t once that looked like Jabba the Hutt!

Yes and as I recall the Millennium Falcon didn't have four enormous propellors, I may be wrong 'though
grossly over priced, you know that yes?

you could get a normal quad for £100 that would fly far beyond this

Maybe, but could it make the Kessel run in less than twelve parsecs?
So the general consensus is et the gullible pay full price. The pick on up half price in January when it will be better value.
Couple of vids on youtube, couldn't see this exact model, seemed a bit dull tbh.

Can't see anyone recreating a decent fight scene with this.
Just the job for flying around the cinema in December to really annoy everyone.
I want one !
...take my money. This and the BB-8 robot thing - it's gonna be like 1977 this Christmas in our house!

You did a sh*t that looked like your mum?

Thats 2 put downs for the price of 1!

You're welcome!

A Parsec is a measurement of distance, not time!

Not a criticism of your (excellent post) more a dig at George Lucas.

I know he reads HUKD so if you're looking at this GL... Up yours!

Get out of ASDA George.

Lucky you, in a few years you'll get to enjoy Fondue and Sodastream all over again!
Good toy, but won't be a great drone. Do a google for Reddit, millenium falcon drone and you're find plans to build your own.
I'm getting this better than that BB toy

I like the bb-8 droid more...https://youtu.be/v35PHc6A8kU

That's more and not as fun
It is the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.

Solo was not referring directly to his ship's speed when he made this claim. Instead, he was referring to the shorter route he was able to travel by skirting the nearby Maw black hole cluster, thus making the run in under the standard distance.

I love the way this point keeps being raised in this day and age about a film in a day and age where fantasy was rarely realistic or accurate.

And I can't help think "Really? All the unbelievable 'facts' in Star Wars canon, and you pick *that* for criticism of accuracy?" o_O

I hope this flies better than the one rotor one I got cheap ages back
I've already ordered the BB-8. Best £130 spent this year I reckon, other than a Wiley Fox that I will order on the 22nd Sept.

Price gouging much there Disney? It's TINY - 24cm long (9"). A falcon foam cut-out on top of a £25 drone chassis. A Hubsan X4 would be much better value and fly longer, plus the X4 would fly outdoors.

Not at all, its an inaccuracy of terminology nothing to do with fantasy.

Its like saying "my favourite letter is the number blue"

Way to ignore what the above actually refers to. Let me rephrase it then;

tanakikhan

... about a film in a day and age where a sci-fi film was rarely … ... about a film in a day and age where a sci-fi film was rarely realistic or accurate.

And more accurately it's like saying;

"My favourite letter is blue, my favourite sandwich is airborne, und my favourite time of day is Fire Engine."

And then you coming back to say "The word and is not spelt with a U", many issues with the subject but you only pick on one as though it is the only issue".

The point being back in that day a lot of artistic licence was taken in order to make the film enjoyable, mysterious and exciting. It's a cheap shot to look back now and correct such mistakes.

While it didn't have any propellors, we're still a few years off installing Girodyne SRB42 sublight engines and an Avatar-10 hyperdrive generator, nevermind the current Series 401 Hyperdrive Motivator
it's not the Air Hogs Star Wars Remote Control Ultimate Millennium it doesn t light up
