This is apparently going to be this years Toy for adult and children. Saw this in New York toy fair and Hasbro orders sold out straight away. This is the cheapest I have seen it. I think it's reasonably price toy from Disney. Considering the second series of Mandalorian comes out in December The millions of kids and adults wanting this is going to be massive. It's super cute. This is the way!

That makes zero sense, the virus doesn't slow down time.
Easy eBay profit come December

There has been stories that due to where they're being made it may slow down production. But it wouldn't surprise me if these were clickbait.

I heard that too. Something like it will take the whole supply chain a while to start flowing normally again.
You did notice he was quite bloodthirsty creature?

POTENTIAL SPOILER FOR ANYONE WHO'S NOT WATCHED YET

Oh I don't know, he only ate one frog and and attempted to force choke someone. Plus that trooper had it coming
He's going to need those skills for when he tries to walk on the beach

Bit expensive for what it is - I have spoken

It's a long time to wait for this.
He dies in the end.
£50 in December, or £3 at the local car-boot sale in August 2021.
It is affecting production as the new marvel American tourister range has been delayed too. First world problems hey.
Probably meant to tie-in with increased demand after season 2 releases in October

No it didn't, just turns to the dark side.

Depends last few pre orders I have done to a credit card and it takes it off straight away
How where Disney not prepared for the hype of the child ?. Missing out on more money by not being prepared with these things at launch of the show. Got other items all ready but nothing baby.
Over £50 for a baby yoda i personally think you must be crazy to pay that let alone 60 nicker full price for a piece of plastic probably made in some chinese sweatshops for tuppence a dozen

They were, it was Jon Favreau who requested for the toys to be held back for the fear of spoilers getting out. I'm sure there is a an element of 'lets see how popular this is' before they gave the go ahead. But the story seems to have come before profit this time.
Is this animatomically correct... Asking for a friend.
It was an OK show. I think it was over hyped but compared to other Star Wars material produced of late it was decent.

In the unlikely event Amazon's Pre-Orders run out:

GeekyAF ~ The Child (Animatronic)
Billy Peltzer killed a whole bunch of baby Yodas in the 80's...

I remember people saying that about ferbies! In the 90's people were paying stupid money for them, and Teletubbies. PS2's and 3's. I remember 3 going for £1600 !! that's crazy!!Infact you can say the same for most ( I must have ) children toys up until date. It's crazy but with this being released at Christmas I would say it's a no brainer. People thought there was going to be a rush on Zelda last year and there would have been if it wasn't released in September ( I think )

Seems the one rare time no merch out before or on release then. Always saw spoiler posts whenever Hasbro had something SW.
Even if Fav had a say, still feels like a huge miss to not even have a NDA for a few months and have stock ready to go. By the time these things come out the world will be all in self isolation and unable to buy up and profit from.

Even with an NDA these things always leak from the Toy Shows or the Factories. I just don't think they were prepared for the massive amount of popularity it and "Baby Yoda" would have got. While I get wanting a surprise for the audience seeing as it's revealed at the end of the first episode seems a little short sighted. Perhaps if it been the big reveal at the end of the series I would get it. Plus having it hit at the same time as the Last Jedi Disney probably prioritised merch for that (although Disney haven't been shy of flooding the shelves with Star Wars).

In a funny way it's like going back to the original Star Wars where there was no merch and it just fed the demand.
