Kids might like it, Star Wars fans might not be overly impressed. The gay hutt that gets the best line sums it all up really. Definately a kids star wars film. Bargain price though.

They'd have to pay me to watch this movie. Have been some decent movies on there recently though.

Cineworld (certainly the one in Rugby, Warwickshire) currently show this for £1 on Saturday mornings. Both kids and parents pay the same. Guess its worth checking as they regularly change what kids films are on, but always £1. Usually only show a couple at a time though so you can't be fussy. Keeps the kids quiet for a while at the wekend anyway.

Worth checking to see if other cinemas do the same type of thing too.

isn't taking kids illegal? mind, if you took one of octomoms or madonnas they probably wouldn't notice that one was missing

£2.50 per child each adult goes FREE..additional adults are £2.50 if they arent with a child...so 2 adults and 2 kids is a fiver!

Great spot - will be there this weekend with my 6 year old !

I think its on this Sat at Cineworld Bolton. - Its only a quid a ticket!

Brill, keep my kids quiet for a couple of hours!

Great tip but check with your local Odeon before trecking down, I took the kids to see Tale of desperaux last week under the same deal and Southend do not have a kids club, so we had to goto Thurrock.

You can get a list of particpating theatres on www.odeon.co.uk

Remember to take your drinks and sweets with you though, they havent realised theres a recession ;-)

Yes all cineworlds do this.

Also showing Kung Fu Panda and Horton hears who.

only one showing at 10AM (and if i remember there is normally a kids session at the start in one of the screanings prior to the films starting where kids can answer questions and win sweets.

Couldn't find a list of participating cinemas on the Odeon website but my local (Glasgow Quay) seem to be charging £2.50 a ticket - they are the most expensive cinema in Glasgow (I think it's cheaper to see Imax movies at the Science centre!).

Empire Cinemas usually show 2 kids movies every weekend (11am Sat & Sun) for £1/ticket. This weekend it's Wall-E and HSM-3. Unfortunately they don't publish an advance program so you have to check every week.
