Disney, champions of milking franchises
I guess its a good deal for those that want the 3D, however I wont be purchasing as this should really have been released back when the initial release came out, not voted either way, just thought I'd offer my two cents

The force is cold in this one

ye cold double dip for 3d no thx.

Ignorant as Eff that, should have been an option when the normal BD came out then I may have purchased it.

I'll download this 3D version.

The movie was not shot in 3D and the post conversion was mediocre.

Well I DO want the 3D version and so I did the opposite of most of you and just waited to make a single (3D) purchase.

I win Disney...

Me too Chris, I've been waiting for the 3D version

It's not bad value when you look at what you get.

Encased in stunning collectible packaging, the set contains the film’s original theatrical release on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, Digital HD, and DVD, along with originally released bonus features and brand-new bonus material, including additional deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes conversations with cast and crew, and revealing, never-before released audio commentary by director J.J. Abrams.

Disney said when the 2d Bluray was released the 3D version was coming later in the year

and this is not exclusive to Disney, every company does this

Flubit is utter crap, it comes up as the same price basicallt as they charge £3.99 when the hell did this come into play? Makes it dearer than amazom!

Why does the link (http://www.starwars.com/news/star-wars-the-force-awakens-3d-collectors-edition-coming-this-fall) show a four disc set, when Amazon, Zoom etc. show as a three disc set?

Probably because the UK have been cuunted again.

Well According to Blu-Ray.com the US version has a the following over the UK
- DVD disc
- iTunes digital copy/Google Play digital copy

Don't know why they don't have the digital copies for the UK releases

Probably because we don't have Disney Anywhere in the UK and Disney UK think UK customers enjoy paying more for less.

Why would I want to pay £20 for basically a reworking of A New Hope?

I thought it was rubbish and this from somebody who got a job in cinema via the first one in 1979
