Apologies if already posted (can't see it anywhere) but this seems a good deal as £25.41 (Tesco) is the cheapest other price i can find and that's only a 4 DVD version. Not sure what's on the bonus discs i'm afraid but here's the bumph anyway....

100% agree,

ridiculous, imagine how much they could sell all 6 together in a blu-ray boxset....£60? Yeah, I'd pay that.

Yep people would pay £59.99 all day long for it. It would be a xmas best seller.

Ps Here's a thought, if he had made it a wollies exclusive it may still be with us today!:w00t:

lol!!! :-D

This 6-disc set includes all 2004 Special Editions and original versions if you don't like excessive CGI tinkering (like I do), but it loses the extras disc from the 2004 set.

Is this the cover you're thinking of? You should probably put it in your first post.

These editions have been available individually for as little as 3.99 each (maybe even cheaper). However, for anyone who doesn't have them yet and wants them in time for Xmas, guess it's the best price right now.

starsparkle2311;3611448

Well tbh it's been this price at HMV for a loonnnnnnnnnnnggg time now:p

If I understand you correctly, it's not really a bargain in any sense then - it just complies with the HUKD definition of "HOT" because it can't be bought cheaper right now?

Star price 4 star wars.
hot,hot,hot

Wow... I think this is the same set that I bought for £15 from Argos way back in Autumn 2004. :?

Back then it was the DVD Fourms "Bargain Bucket" that I used to hunt bargains.

It isn't - the original poster used the wrong picture. This is a new set released in October of this year.

Voted COLD...these are being shown on TV on sundays starting 2 weeks ago...

So no, not a good deal at all really.

Poster has definitely added the wrong image. The cover shown is a 4 disc set, currently retailing at around £30. The box-set for sale is a re-badged version of the one play.com have been selling for months at the same price (pictured below).

So unless you've got a time machine, you've missed Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back already. Although if you have a time machine, it would probably solve the problem of ITV playing the movies in 10 minute segments, divided each time by at least 5 minutes of adverts.

I know that I'd far prefer to have the DVDs all things considered, (although I do have them already).

So yes, rather a good deal really.
