Was £39.99 apparently...

Best price I can find for the Xbox version - plus with Battlefront hitting EA Access on the 13th, seems like pretty good timing.

£22.49 if you have EA access

Still a bit much for a year old game.
Will be patient and wait until EA access eventually gives this for free.

Yeah it's still a bit steep for me but I doubt they'll make it free any time soon.

Give it 6 months.

Heat as this is the lowest it's been on Xbox One, even more so with the EA Access discount

I'm pretty sure that the EA Access model is based around sales of DLC (Battlefield 4 excluded for obvious reasons). Although it's always a possibility, I'd be surprised if this is offered with the EA Access subscription.

heat for price but got sick of waiting for it to be reduced, so got the ultimate edition of PSN store for less than this, really don't see many sales on season passes/DLC from microsoft this gen

Having a quick look at CDKeys (like I always do). It would cost you £22.70 for this if you purchased a top-up from them.

It's available for £22.49 if you're an EA Access subscriber (which I imagine the majority of purchases will be), which would net you an extra £2.51 left in your Microsoft account, not bad for a £22.70 purchase.

Seems reasonable. I love this game as a pick up shooter. Nothing too taxing for casual gamers like myself and great for the star wars nerd in me.

The latest Rogue One dlc is awful.

any of you guys where I can get season pass for ps4, most places are like £35, it's a gift so can't get it from playstore?

they didn't give Paracel Storm a lick of Star Wars paint and added ATATs?

No it isn't. It isn't groundbreaking, but it's good nonetheless. I like the Scarif Jungle Map. Infiltration has a better balance (two FPS to one space battle), than the Death Star multi level mode. They ahve also addess Cargo and Droid Run to the death star DLC so that's better as well. The best game mode is Extraction from the Outer Rim DLC, and I hope DICE will continue to add game modes to exisiting maps in the future whilst they make Battlefront 2.

When it hits EA access the player base will explode and you will easy get another good year out of this game. Yes the criticism of the base game was valid, but if you are a Star Wars fan, for £25 and EA access you can have a really kick ass game now.

Ok, time to get to level 100. "You gotta do what you gotta do."

Paid £24.99 for the Ultimate Edition in the PSN sale. Was 50/50 having enjoyed the base game but feeling it lacked content. Rogue One being around the corner tipped me in favour of buying. The DLC released so far is fantastic, especially the Death Star DLC. With the Season Pass the game feels much more ‘complete’ and no one can say it lacks content anymore. Plus Chewbacca is one of the DLC heroes! Hot!

nah be free on ea access soon, sales are starting to drop off hence repeated sales stay strong people

Take this one for the team then mate X)

Ordered with some old Singapore credit.

Does each map have to be downloaded in game? Or does it automatically download all new content?

This is a really good price, I paid £39.99 for this not so long ago. Now it's in the Vault with EA Access, it's a must buy. Can't wait for the Scarif DLC!

It's only £5 more for the Ultimate Edition, which includes the game and season pass for those that don't have ea access

It's actually ~£4.50 more if you have EA Access - which also means buying the game would be a bit pointless as it's going in the vault next week. It's £29.99 without the discount, so I guess that would be great if you aren't an EA Access subscriber.

zombrex

yeah it will be free

No, no it won't. Not this year, at least and, judging by the other EA game season passes, not ever.

Yeah I know, I meant when I get home from work tonight!

I paid full price and was no way near happy with the content
Battlefield season passes have been decent in past with loads of extra vehicles guns etc
But not battlefront added a few heroes that only the absolute die hard star wars fans would know.....yeah well worth the credits

It all gets added via patches to the main game. So if your game is up to date, you have the content. The season pass will then unlock it

Well since there is only a month left obviously not, reckon the dlc will be free by may if not not earlier.

Yeah but none of them were mind blowing enough to warrant £40 ( a whole new game price)

Please can anyone help me. I just got an Xbox one yesterday and my son wants this game. What is the difference between this and the £15 one in asda? Also is it best to subscribe to this EA access? (I'm not sure what that is really) many thanks

If your son is new to Xbox then I'd definitely recommend EA Access - it's a subscription service like Xbox Live Gold but it's only £20 a year. He'll get access to loads of games that he'll be able to use while you stay subscribed. Star Wars Battlefront comes as part of the EA Access 'vault'.

Thank you for the quick reply! I have been told to buy Xbox live but that seems expensive for a year. This ea access seems good. So this means he would be able to play this game without purchasing the disk? I'm sorry if these questions are simple. What is the season pass that you posted for? Thank you so much for taking the time to reply, Google isn't being much use

You'd need Xbox Live Gold if he wanted to play games online with other people, it's not cheap but you do get 4 free games a month, so it's not all bad
You wouldn't need the disc for any of the games on EA Access - they are all downloaded digitally to the Xbox hard drive.
The season pass gives you more maps and characters etc, though if your son isn't going to play online I'd maybe hold off buying it until he's exhausted all the content in the main game.

Thank you that has cleared up my confusion £40 Xbox live, £20 ea access. Brilliant thank you!!

No problem

You can get both Xbox Live and EA Access together from Amazon at the moment, and though it's not technically a great deal - it would save you a fiver over buying them both separately. Unless anyone else has spotted any better deals?
