Ask for a decaf filter coffee and, because they don't serve decaf filter, they will give you a decaf americano for the same price -£1.

Did this in a London Starbucks, but assuming it will be the same elsewhere.

whats the point in drinking decaf coffee , the whole idea of drinking it is to get your hit of caffeine.

I always ask for filter coffee and nine times out of ten there's none or the machine is broken, so get offered an americano for the lower price.

Good find, just tried it in a Surbiton Starbucks and I got the americano.

I ask for decaf filter coffee and they just say they don't do it.

I'm 9 months pregnant and not willing to give up my morning coffee so decaf is better than nothing.
