It does come out as £2.5 per pack. Usually I'm buying this for £3.5 on normal price or £3 on deal in supermarkets.
One of my favourite coffee.

Also I don't know why it's says available for pre-order. I've order the same product last week so I assume there's just an listing error.
It is very nice. Smooth, creamy, not too over roasted, almost like the roast I get from some independent cafe, e.g., Workshop, or Caffeine.
Are these quite strong or can be made strong ? Have delonghi what is recommended grind setting
Now with the whole WFH pattern, I consume a lot more coffee at home. The only concern is when is the manufacturing date.

I use DeLonghi magnifica and with this coffee I left the grinder on 5. For me it's quite perfect, neither to strong or to weak.
On my machine I can set the amount of coffee to be used for a cup as well, so you can increase the strength from there too.

According to some review on Amazon, some customers received short dated coffee (e.g. April). I assume it's says pre-order now because they ran out of stock or they are bringing "fresh" coffee.
chenzz10/04/2020 17:38

Or they don't have it in stock.

Also all Starbucks coffee products from Amazon are now showing available for pre-order, even if they sold it before, so I guess they are refreshing their stock.

I've seen that too but I don't want to risk. There are lots of customers reviews showing they found small stones in the pack along with the coffee.

Best coffee ever

Not as tasty
Standard price. Don't see a deal.
Also, Tchibo is half price and tastes same if not better.
Mövenpick Espresso also cheaper and tase is fantastic-tried in Germany and always buying it when on offer.

Read the comments. That's not a standard price.
Also where do you find Tchibo coffee beans?
Also Movenpick is way more expensive.
Also you can't say which coffee is better. Everybody's taste is different.
Plenty at Jack Fultons, 2 pounds a bag. Also Dark Roast (much better) at the same price.

Hold on... Someone who never tried this coffee never is going to buy a bulk £40 / £50 / £60 worth of coffee. What if you will end up not enjoying the coffee?
I got this recently. Short best before date and very average coffee.

The Coffee Masters coffee on Amazon is much better, usually recently roasted and decently priced.
Nice find. Heat added. I suppose there is surplus in the supply-chain due to lock down. So great price overall

You can always buy 1kg to try.

Indeed, but you will end up at the same price or even more. For ex this will come out at £13.50 delivered for a kilo while Starbucks is £12.50 per kilo. Indeed, I know what you mean and you are right, buying coffee in bulk is more cheaper but you have to make sure that's not short dated and is not going out of date. The storage conditions must be good as well.

Also as how I said before, everyone s taste is different.

Nah. These are short expiry dated ones , with expiry on 05/2020. That's why it is bit cheaper. My sister ordered them and TBH taste is not the best, as been sitting somewhere for over a year. Coffee is best when it is freshly roasted....
Tasted good when they were £2 a bag at B&M

Yeah i agree with this. Fresh roasted beans are tasteless after 4-6 weeks. This stuff sits on a shelf for months.
Best thing to do is Google a local ish coffee roaster and order to roast. 100 times better than this.

Thanks I usually select espresso
And then add milk via the carafe. Thanks ordered and will try . I did have nespresso equovwenr they weren’t too bad hopefully beans a lot fresher
How long is the date on these? Usually packets like this usually have around a year ??
ANG9410/04/2020 18:15

but thats a link to amazon so STANDARD for AMAZON
The supermarket version has a roasted on date which surprisingly was 4 weeks ago last time I bought some. As far as supermarket. Evans go these are great and make a flavoursome espresso with no bitter (burnt) notes which is typically of other SB bags in shops. Its a little light in milk based drinks but can compromise with a. Double shot and less milk - Cortado style
I used to buy this standard of coffee beans and thought it was great coffee. I then bought a proper grinder, good drip machine and fresh beans from Rave Coffee (their house blend) and the coffee I now get is astonishing compared to what I used to get. It is such a pleasure to drink coffee with no bitterness, incredibly deep and complex flavours.

What a load of absolute rubbish, as long as you open and consume before best before date they're absolutely fine, in fact they're fine for ages afterwards.......if you have decent storage tubs the beans are good for 2 months. How you store beans after you open them is far far more important than before because the second you open them they will begin to oxidise.

Starbucks beans are lush btw I have 4 diff sets these ones are nice and mellow....Pike Place are really nice as well

Rubbish talk. I have ordered some from Amazon last year with expiry date in one month and coffee was stale!!! Your knowledge of coffee is very poor and I think you would drink any coffee, even expired a year ago; and you can , of course, you won't die but not enjoy aroma either.

My delonghi esam 4200 set about 3. Is it lower the number the finer the grind and stronger the coffee?
