Expensive but you pay for taste IMO. Whilst the Home Bargain capsules are oke and my usual go to, I find the Starbucks ones to be the next best thing to the originals. Starbucks Nespresso coffee is good and the capsules are a slightly different design, with tin foil on both sides, than others which means they work just fine in my Pixie with no leaking.

Cheap = yes

Taste good = no
There is NO substitute for genuine Nespresso pods. Why buy a Nespresso machine then use terrible tasting pods to save a couple of pence? It's not like the Nespresso ones are expensive.
Found these are 'OK' but at £4.95 postage your going to need to order a few before its worth it.

Regarding compatibles have found Cafepod quite good and like the Taylors ones.

These are the only other coffee pods i like for my nespresso machine and buy them when they are cheap...however nothing beats the taste of the original nespresso capsules.
Nespresso pods are pretty expensive but if you factor in the choice and lack of plastic in them it's not too bad .. but if you like a lungo most of the lungo pods taste very very weak (the 2 stronger nes are fine) .. I've tried most of the clones and the best by far I've had were the recent Lidl special edition Columbian (the normal Lidl ones have a kind of nasty to me chicory like taste), next to this I would rank the Starbucks then A bit further down London Coffee Company/Cafedirect/Taylor's/Aldi then the poorest I've tried are cafepod/Normal Lidl .. We drink quite a bit of coffee and I do buy a large chunk of genuine nespresso pods as if you get the right pods for you they are excellent but the Lidl Columbian specials were damned good. I got literally a shed load of these as they had an insane offer on these (2 packs of 10 for around £1.50). Just wished Lidl realised how good these pods were and how crap their normal ones are

The other minor advantage the genuine nespresso pods have is that they look damned pretty in a stand on the counter top unlike the Lidl ones in little plastic bags.
