Didn't know these existed!!

I've seen these Starbucks machines on offer on ebay but the thing that put me off is the fact the pods are like hens teeth to find. You can only get them from Starbucks, online or via selected retailers of which usually don't carry stock.

This machine was the reason Starbucks stopped supplying Tassimo with T-Discs and the main reason I stopped using my Tassimo as it was best coffee available for it at the time. Now Costa is good in
T-Disc but nowhere near as good as the Starbucks house blend was.

The main problem with this machine the pods are exclusive and there is vertically no compatible pods out there as such when you can't get the pods it's a big paper weight.

I've recently got a Nespresso U machine and the great thing about it there is compatible pods out there now Nespresso have lost its high court battle to hold on to its pod patent, due to this there is loads of pods out there to try which makes it a better option.
The Tassimo is also a better option due to the different verities of pods available but they are still expensive due to only being produced by Tassimo.

Tesco do their own Podpronto which is similar to this, and is available in some stores for £44.50, maybe you can use the same pod's as this?

you can hack the t discs for the tassimo with a bit of faffing about. the milk one can be refilled with actual milk by boring a hole under the lip on the hard plastic and the coffee ones you get refillable pods which you can add your own coffee grind.

the tassimo doesn't have espresso bar pressure though so its always close to drip coffee where as the nespresso makes a nice espresso so choice is whether you want a hot drinks maker that makes teas coffees and hot choc or just coffee

tesco podpronto pods work with this machine
