For some reason the link doesn't work here it is.

store.nvidia.com/sto…age

still does not work

Ross,

I have to be honest i cannot get the links to work. I have searched the site and cannot find the game listed for sale. The prices of their other download games are more expensive than you would find in a shop. I find it hard to believe they have starcraft II for 10 quid. But i would love to be proved wrong

That link above should work and show it in the cart.

Yeah when I was searching for the game in the store I seen other games where at a higher price too I just don't understand why it would be in the cart as £9.65 because if it was not with the product key why your they charge that amount just for a download of the game with no product key?

Ross,

Because what you have selected is the trial version of the game which gives you 14 days access. If you have a nvidia card purchase you enter the code and the price is free. Otherwise it looks like you pay 9.995 for the free trial.

Here the start page uk.nzone.com/obj…tml when you click the link to the trial it comes up at 9.95 which is the link you provided.

WARNING! This code only gives you 7 hours of play. Waste of money. Voting cold.

Really?

They are charging nearly £10 for 7 hours?

DAMN, just went through with the order and it comes up at the end telling you it's 7 hours of play time or 14 days worth, whichever comes first.

It doesn't tell you that anywhere... I'm going to complain to them and ask for a refund, they don't advertise that it's only 7 hours anywhere.

1 User License
Electronic Download
Play StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty for 7 hours of game time or 14 days from activation (whichever comes first). To use this free trial key:
1. Go to starcraft2.com/guest
2. Create a Battle.net account, or log in if you already have one.
3. Enter the Authentication Key above
4. Download the free trial client.
Thanks for taking advantage of our special offer, only for GeForce owners!

Argggg I paid £10 for a demo!

Ah i guess this is the guest pass?
if you look on nvidia's site some graphics cards come with a free trial of starcraft 2. If you look at how to redeem it says enter the code bundled with the graphics card into the shop and will reduce the price to £0.

uk.nzone.com/obj…tml

Go to the NVIDIA store with your StarCraft II coupon
Enter the code provided on your coupon - this will bring the price to £0.00
Complete your purchase
You will receive an order confirmation email from the NVIDIA store along with a serial key for the trial
Go to starcraft2.com/guest
Create a Battle.net account, or log in if you already have one
Enter the serial key you received in the confirmation email
Download the free trial client
Play the game!

So the code is for the 7 hours guest pass.

It's the code for this offer:

tigerdirect.com/app…467

Hmmmm, if you click on the refund policy it says they have a 30-day money back guarantee... do you think this will apply to the £10 I have just paid for a damn demo?

All this is the free trail client DO NOT Purchase this. When you buy a graphics card it comes with a coupon which waives the 9.95 download fee in the basket. It then gives you a product code to try the game for 14 days before you then have to buy it at the normal price. So all you get is a limit timed copy of the game for 10 quid.

This is why you should not post links to a basket in a store. Link the page the item appears otherwise you cause problems like this

I have edited the description to warn everyone that it is just for the 7 hour trail.

Sorry to the people who bought this! I said in the original description that I had not tried it and was not sure if it was true but when leedale30 said that he received the code in an email after order I just assumed he meant the full code as nothing was said about the 7 hours.

Sorry again.

Well I have just sent a 'Return digital purchase' request saying that I did not know it was a demo until I had gone through with the purchase, so I'm hoping they will give me a refund.

Same as Krunch09. Seems easy enough, and they're going to get a few requests I imagine, so hopefully there's no harm done

ouch, i was just looking at videos and reviews for the game, im glad i didnt purchase when i saw the code had worked, good luck to those that did in getting a refund

refund accepted

Yeah, same here, got an email through this morning asking me to accept the refund which I did so it should now be processed within the next few days.
