One of the best games of last year is finally coming down in price, and doesn't seem to be cheaper than any prices on the Internet:

Top man for the top find. This game is a fantasic game not only can you play the single player and have an immense ammount of fun but when you have finished that you get to enjoy the multiplayer and let me tell you this, there is soo many ways to play and learn new tactics that if you get really good at it...... and I mean really good you get to enter tournments for cash przes and I dont just mean for £10 or £50, I mean if you get really REALLY good you can get a shed load of cash. So if you are good at gaming buy this game and practise, practise and practise because this game can give back to you even in the amatuer leagues.

awesome find!
I havent been in a toys R us store for a game in years but this sure will finally make me!
Thanks alot!

No worries guys, glad to help

The last time I bought a game in Toys R Us, they let me try it out first in the back room on their Sega Megadrive.

Does anyone on here that has this know if the disc as shown holds the Mac version as well? ie, is it both versions on the same disc?

Definately a game worth getting!

It's both on the same disc.

yes its hotdeals, but i'd rep this game no matter what the price.

alasrati

It's both on the same disc.

Many thanks for that. I will hunt down a copy of this for my mac

voting hot. great game though I don't have the time to give the multiplayer a go

If you're planning to jump on the multiplayer then subscribe to HuskyStarcraft, HDStarcraft and AhnarisStarcraft on youtube. Most gameplays are from master league players (top 200) so the tactics are really beneficial. Learnt a great deal from these videos!

darn it, bought it for £35 at gamestation only a week ago. Good news is that even at full price this is one helluva game.

I found this really repetitive me and my m8 played 2vs2 matches and 90% of the the time it was who can rush the best really boring. Oh no hes got 1 or 2 more lil units than me I lose or oh no they have both rushed me with 5 lil units each and my team m8 cant make it to me in time. So in the end me and my m8 did the same thing but really dont get much satisfaction from it. I see myself as a decent RTS player but im either totally missing something or people luv this game because of the repetitive rushing tactics with games lasting a matter of 3 mins.

You have to have a solid micro at the start. You can't be serious when you say your games last for 3 mins!! SC2 is the most non-repetitive game, so I'm saying you're missing something.

My local doesn't seem to have this. Wonder if it is a regional thing.

I haven't got into it either. Myself and two friends teamed up against the AI and they defeat us in a rush every time

I've tried learning shortcuts and setting up macros to speed up my style of play but I'm clearly taking the wrong approach.
The single player campaign didn't really do anything for me either.

What difficulty are you playing against? AI play style is quite different to actual people online. AI always does a quick rush around the 3-4 min mark. Online that will not happen. A basic terran strategy would be-

10 supply depot
12 barracks
15 supply depot

Wall your ramp and pump out 3/4 marines, you'll be fine against any rushes.

man?!?! i really want this ><

£25?!?! went that low eh?
gotta wait another month lol...prob go down to like £20 xD

Im talking about playing online, me and my m8 were doing 2v2 and it was always a rush game well 90% of the time. They always send in like 5 lil units straight away everytime and as they were working as a team so they did a joint attack on me or my m8 and it was impossible to combat unless my m8 or I send our units to each others base, but you have to take a gamble on who they gonna attack first. So in the end we just started doing rush tactics ganging up on 1 base and winning within like 5 minutes, found it boring though.

any got a account for sale maybe
