Finally it’s on sale, had it on wish list for a long time. I’ve never played it but seems a game I would enjoy. Might make use of the trial just to test it out. Weird how you have to buy on the console never seen that before.

Actually, is there a guide for setting up access to foreign e shops someone could link me to please? (edited)

Some notifications haven't been working due to some site changes as I've missed a few too.
With South Africa being classed as EU by Nintendo you may as well just change regions. The download comes from the same place (NoE) and it won't matter which region you bought it from. If you deleted the game you could still find it from your UK account on the eShop and would say 'Purchased' so you could download again (from the console) without changing region again. (edited)

This is awesome. So much to do in this game that it's kept me and my kids entertained for a couple of years and we still have plenty to do. Junimo Kart is THE BEST

Is this showing as OOS for anyone else? It's digital?

It's digital but you need to buy from the console as the download codes from My Nintendo are out of stock

Dangerously addictive game and very disappointed that it's allowed on HUKD as it's a career and family-wrecker.

    Purchased tyvm.

Heated, always like to see Stardew on sale. One of my all time favourite games, and comes extremely highly recommended! Cannot get over the quality of this game and the sheer amount of effort and ongoing support the (sole) developer of this game has put in. Over five years in development and multiple significant free content updates since. AAA games developers, could learn so much from this. Great example of an indie dev going above and beyond and doing what the AAA teams just can't (or won't).

Have this on multiple platforms already but really tempted to double (or triple) dip just to support the dev and bet it looks lovely on the Switch OLED screen. Only slight pity is that console players can't access the very healthy modding community of the PC version. TBF all console versions have this limitation, but there is tonnes of content now anyways especially with all the updates its had over the years....

Just bought the physical for £26 off eBay last week 🤦‍♂️ At least the case is nice though I suppose

Amazing fun . Feels like I'm playing it completely wrong when I see video's of people doing a load more than me but dam if I'm not super happy with what I've got going. Recommended for all, young kids will love too as like me, you can avoid/ miss the questing type stuff and just farm

My kids have been playing this so much on Xbox Game Pass. Is there a way to transfer the game save to Switch to continue?

    Pretty sure there isn't unfortunately

Anyone know why this is a 12? Was thinking of getting to play with my younger kids...

I've spent more time playing this game than probably any other, and can't really think of a reason it's rated a 12. I play co-op with my daughter and she's 11 but she began playing it at 9 I think. There's some combat in the mines with small monsters and bugs but that's about it. I suppose some of the themes are adult orientated (marriage, babies, some drinking etc) but nothing concerning imo.
Have a read here if you're still concerned:

    Edit.
Maybe try the free demo if you have NSO and see how you feel about it. (edited)
