Stardust, based on the graphic novel by Neil Gaiman and Charles Vess, takes audiences on an adventure in an imaginary world.

A young man named Tristan tries to win the heart of Victoria, the beautiful but cold object of his desire, by going on a quest to retrieve a fallen star. His journey takes him to a mysterious and forbidden land beyond the walls of his village. On his odyssey, Tristan finds the star, which has transformed into a striking girl named Yvaine. However, Tristan is not the only one seeking the star. A king's four living sons - not to mention the ghosts of their three dead brothers - all need the star as they vie for the throne. Tristan must also overcome the evil witch, Lamia, who needs the star to make her young again. As Tristan battles to survive these threats, encountering a pirate named Captain Shakespeare and a shady trader named Ferdy the Fence along the way, his quest changes. He must now win the heart of the star for himself as he discovers the meaning of true love.

I wasn't too sure on this film, but what a great price for a fairly recent release!

good price but poor film,,,IMHO of course,,,so hot,,,

i liked it! hot price

I loved this film, I impoted it from Australia on HD-DVD, Its not as good as the princess bride, but its the only fantasy film of its type to come close.

This film is actually really good!

This film is great! A close second to my fav...Top Gun. A stroppy Claire Danes and a Can Can loving Robert De Niro make it for me.

H&R based on price though.

Excellent film, unique in many ways

Really enjoyed it, got it in the Borders deal at Christmas, don't normally like this sort of thing but just went with it, plus Michelle Pfeifffer yum yum. Voted hot but probably more Warm.

great film, great price - Robert De Niro is fab in it!! & funny too!!

Does anyone know when Paramount are going to release this on Bluray?

Does anyone know when Paramount are going to release this on Bluray?

This is a question that has been asked again and again across many forums, for over a year now. The answer I'm afraid is that nobody but Paramount could give you a answer. It certainly has'nt appeared on any release schedules that I have seen.

My whole family loved this film which is very unusual in our house!! Hot price

Good film (although better book). Been waiting for ages for a blu-ray release, but I give up. 2.99 is too good to miss
