wishing this was at zavvi.. nice film

There's also a 15th Anniversary edition being released on 27th October in the USA, it is a fresh (hopefully top quality) transfer with a claimed 4 hours of extras (this usually includes the audio commentary time). No sign of a UK release for it at the moment, though if it is region unlocked (the existing release is region free) then amazon.com are pricing it at $19.99 and movietyme.com at £14.99 at present.

Is this the director's cut? If so then very hot!! If not, then not so hot.

its £8.95 in zavvi.... if your lucky enough to win a £2.50 scratch card from hotukdeals, itll make it £6.45.... think im going for it

Excellent film. Cracking price for a BR too. HOT!

cracking deal:thumbsup:

i might purchase this

Love this movie! Thanks

its a good deal and as a big stargate fan I owned one, BUT this was filmed a long time before HD and whilst the outside vistas are wonderful the inside scenes are worse than normal dvd! I would wait for a re-release that has hopefully been "cleaned and scrubbed". Yes a good price but not such a good product (and thats not a movie review)

Your saying this film was shot in the 1800's???

As thats how far you would have to go before hd existed...

No i m saying the picture quality is crap on inside dark scenes so why waste 6.99 when the dvd version is better thats all......

Unlike some, I only heard of high definition with regards Blu-ray and HD-DVD and HD tv's for all a few years back.......TISWAS would have been great in HD too...damn

Hot for me, this is a great film

It was still filmed in better than HD you know...

Actually its not the picture quality thats the problem (its fine, seen it on differant screens etc) but its the fact that there arent any hard coded subtitles for the alien/ancient egyptian/Goa'uld speech, so unless u keep turning the soft subs on and then off again every differant scene, you wont understand them. It was a production fault with the original blu ray release..
