This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Updated - confirmed as RBS or NatWest only.

Had been looking to switch to starling from RBS as they now support multiple directors and they give a £1000 incentive but had held off until after Xmas

Starling now seem to offer £1500 for switching from any account.

31st Jan process must be started by so would give enough time.

I recently opened an account with Starling, both business and personal. I didn’t use the switching service though as I hadn’t seen this. However, what an awesome experience. The entire process was completed in under 12 hours and I had my physical bank card the very next day.

You perform all the banking via the app and the customer care is top notch. Highly recommend this bank it’s going to clean up the high street sloths

Or is it that apple is just Crap?
If you take a look at the terms and conditions (starlingbank.com/doc…pdf) it specifically mentions RBS

Terms 1. In order to receive the Switching Amount, Switching Customers must:
a. open a business current account or sole trader current account with Starling Bank (each, a “BCA”);
b. switch their “primary account”1 with RBS to Starling Bank through the Current Account Switching Scheme; and
c. ensure that their “primary account” with RBS is closed,
This is a bit misleading because it’s only for RBS and NatWest business accounts who have been informed to switch to another bank. The regulators are forcing RBS to reduce the number of business customers, so are paying them to switch to another bank

If it does what it says on the tin this is great.

I would like the option to have online login as well as an app.
Heat given
Looks like it for "Business" accounts.
Is it only for rbs and natwest? M currently with Lloyd's business banking

+1 for Starling. Business banking you can actually do via the website too - I moved from Yorkshire Bank 6 months ago and cant fault it at all
Excellent, will move over from HSBC

hey you can now login online aswell with the business and personal accounts
Do Starling offer IBAN numbers, currently with Tide and it took them ages to offer them.

Used starling for 16 months and its brilliant. No issues at all. If anyone has any more technical questions "reply" to this and ill do my best to answer. Appreciate its difficult moving business banking to a unheard of brand, but its 10* better than any of the big boys!
Is there any way to deposit cheques into their business account ? - If so, do they charge for this?
just looked at the offers available to me for switching from RBS and both Starling and TSB are offering £1500, thanks OP
I would love to ditch HSBC and move to Starling but I just can't trust the start-up just yet. I'd go for this if you could keep the old bank as a back-up strategy but, as we've got six figure sums in the business account, Starling just feels to risky. No doubt this is irrational in this age of ecommerce but, as much as I hate HSBC, they do have scale as well as bricks and mortar.

Starling have a login page for Business Accounts app.starlingbank.com/login
yeah just asked as well. it has to be with RBS or Natwest through the so called "Business Banking Switch Scheme" so that it can be qualified for the money.
or you will not get the money by opening a business account with them
"just apply for a Starling account – which you can do in minutes from your mobile – then tell us you’re ready in the app and we’ll switch your old account to Starling within seven days."

Silly reason to change.

These guys are more reliable and better for accounting than the big players

They have won best bank awards for 2 years running

I had no problems swapping over. All direct debits and standing orders got copied to the new account

Happened within 48 hours and a new card sent out

Having brick and mortar premises is an expense put on to the customer

You'll find these guys more efficient and thus less problems

I believe you have to post them in but you can pay them in yes
What are the monthly rates for the business banking please? TIA
Band 3 is 3k
I currently have Barclays Business banking so I will not get the £1500 if I switched over?

It's free, even receiving or making payments too.

Only costs I believe is if using the post office to deposit cash, something like £3 or 3%

No. Could maybe switch to RBS first (although I found it a right pain, about 30 pages to read or fill out and post back)
good deal if you are with one of the two but it does seem abit off especially as the incentive doesnt appear when googling RBS business account (another campaign page does) and the campaign pages / registration dont seem to allude at all / clearly the restrictions (that are very fundemental)?

I share your points and do have a private banking account with Starling which is excellent. Plus I was one of the first to sign up to get alerts about business banking. It's just the six figure balance. Anything less then I would be right in there. All that said - I'm considering it.........
I currently have a business account them. Just asked the question of we are going to be getting any sort of reward for loyalty. Not expecting anything but here's to hoping!

So it's not possible to make an RBS Business account and then switch it?
My wife has her personal account with Starling for over 2 years now. Very good experience, consistently.
Is there a minimum that has to be paid in each month?
That's two years of accountancy fees paid right there, just for switching.

Shirley there must be a catch. Have to prove turnover? Have to pay it back if you don't deposit more than £1500 in X months?
So I’ve looked at the terms and can’t see any reasons for them to take the money back.

Theoretically, could I open a business account with HSBC (I don’t currently have one but am a freelance designer) then immediately switch to starling and get £1500?

Any chance of Lloyds running a similar scheme to get rid of business customers? not had bad service as such, just don't think I get much for the monthly fee.
Anyone know what the consent ID is? rang my current bank and they have no idea so not a good start

HSBC is not included, it's only RBS/NatWest isn't it??

I have HSBC but have recently opened Starling business account few weeks back (without switching process). I hope I ain't missed out now on £1500!
Sorry. Just a Noob here. In simple terms does this deal mean that I can get free £1500 for just switching to starling business account?
I swapped from Tide to Staling a couple of weeks ago. Night and day difference - just having real time transactions is great!

That's what I was wondering. But then would you have to wait a while before switching again and potentially lose out on the offer? How long did your switch to RBS take?

£175k revenue a year here, no problem

There is no fees and they are FCA regulated like everyone else

i went with HSBC and hated them with every passing minute haha - what do you need bricks and mortar for these days?
