This starter pack includes Fox McCloud and his Arwing from the StarFox series – exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version of the game – as well as the pilot Mason Rana, and the Flamethrower and Frost Barrage weapons. Amazon listing is also from AO directly. But you can only get cashback for AO out of three options, if that is your thing.
I got this deal from Argos a couple of months ago, it is one of the best games I played recently (I do like repetitive games). I finished it in a couple of weeks and it is collecting dust now. If anyone wants it, let me know. I'm in Brighton, by the way.

I got to the point where I destroyed the first big ship and realised I would have to keep defending previously 'conquered' planets. It looked like it would become a grindfest. Is it or is the defence of old planets pretty minor? I didn't want to spend 80% of the game skipping back to old planets I'd already done?

Sent you a PM about it, this is one of the best third person shooter/sandbox/space themed game I played and they put it together with a nice kids friendlish story.
I wonder when Ubisoft are going to start burying these things in the desert?

Yes, from my experience I think she'll be fine with it. There's a good story that's told in a kid-friendly style that reminded me of animated TV shows like The Deep on CBBC. There's lots of space dog fights and it's cool being able to drop through the atmosphere and start exploring the planet's surface, scanning life forms into your computer and defending mining outposts. You do find yourself doing the same things over and over but it's still an enjoyable game. It's not what I'd call an essential purchase but for £10 you can't go far wrong, especially when you're getting the models too. You don't need to purchase any extras, but they are likely to be found cheap if she gets into it - you can also purchase them digitally. I think I ended up playing it more than my sons!

I play it with my 7YO so yes. IMO. She loves to play it - but cant hold the controller easily with the ship on so just uses the one without.
Two player split screen is great collaborative fun.
Is this for the actual game or.no.

It's available as a digital download only, so I expect you can.

I've only ever taken the game out of the box and I've not hit any issues yet.
The standard edition is only £17.50 on the eshop. If i'm reading the description correctly you get a lot more 'stuff' than this which is just the starter bundle?
