Found 6th Jan 2014
Just been in Morrisons in Kirkcaldy and they have the 12 pack of 330ml bottles of Staropramen on offer for £8. Looks likely to be National, although unconfirmed.

This is a decent beer and seems to be the cheapest price around at the moment. Works out around 66p a bottle.

The offer is on until 9th February.

Heat added. Love this, not enough places serve this!

We'll spotted haven't seen it at this price before ,, hot hot

Nice beer but after drinking it in Prague on tap for around 50p a pint, I cant bring myself to pay English prices for it.
Heat though as this is a great price for a good beer, and you don't have to fly to Prague on 5 Lufthansa city hoppers.

Great Beer, the best around at the moment if you can get it, along with Paulaner which is available nowhere these days.

Good price, £3.99 for 4 in B & M , beats that by a distance

Decent beer? almost the only stuff worth drinking. I am off to Morrison's.

thanks buddy, heat added.

is this lager?

How many star caps can you expect in 12?

Used to be my favorite beer when it was 5.22%, compared to the 4.8% now it does taste different....

Yes it is a lager beer.

This is nice on draught, served in the special glass. Not keen on it in bottles.

It says it is 5% ABV on the pack. Don't know if that makes any difference

Dunno. I don't have a special glass - all the scrotes nicked them from the pub I used to booze at before I could nick one.

The correct glass has a metal rim and a slightly bulbous shape which really affects the flavour. I have no idea how this sorcery works, but it does.

Disgusting drink just like all the other commercial lagers are disgusting, it's especially horrible from draught.
Voted cold unlike the temp they serve it at in bars.

It's only popular because the chavvy little bar going football fashion victim crowd said it's nice.

Still got some from Xmas paid £18 for 3 cases at Tesco

A very nice lager. When did everyone start calling lagers "beer" though?

Oh dear. This fool clearly knows nothing about premium lagers. This is one of the best out there, always my preferred lager when having an after work pint.

Lush beer, I got 9 crates for £50 at Xmas via the tesco deals. Bought some official glasses online. 5 crates drunk by eager family members over Xmas!!!

I get what you mean . In my youth we called all lagers by this title, although the few imported lagers around at the time were called beers for some strange reason (I am quite old)

On a more technical note, a lager is just a type of beer (Lager is the English name for cool fermenting beers of Central European origin) thus both names are technically correct ( just as calling a pale ale or a bitter beer is also correct).

love this beer - got 6 cases today

My students' union has this on draught, which is nice, but sometimes I just wish they'd have stuff like Carling for a cheap pint. I don't want to have to pay £3.50 a pint in a student bar haha

get these soon just got mine and offer ends on the 9th grab them now, I might get some more

From Thursday as well I think they go to 3 for £12 at Morrisons as well
