My favourite Gin is their award winning Oliver Cromwell Dry Gin, in fact I've just bought a litre for £14! Must drink it by Sunday!
I'm most looking forward to the release off the Cromwell Sloe Gin priced at £9.99!!
Enjoy everybody ..

8? Whilst i love drinking the stuff (especially on hols by the pool), i cant tell the difference between any 2, let alone 8. Different tonics tend to make more of a difference. Maybe not drinking enough of it!
There are only 7 gins in the article.

Going to get the Sloe gin, Needle and the French one

    Thanks for posting OP.
Mini gin festival next weekend, I will buy a bottle of each
Oooh...have quite a gin corner building up in the dining room - be rude not to add some more!
Why are you capitalising like the DAILY MAIL?

The 8th is the one they regularly sell... Oliver Cromwell dry gin
You need to drink as much gin as possible and compare them. For scientific reasons of course.

If you try them side by side, neat, you'll notice a difference. Not Islay malt vs lowland malt difference but still noticeable. So I'll pick different gins depending on whether I'm having them neat or with tonic.

Well that's my sober October plan finished already!
Sloe gin....yummy! As long as it is actual sloe berries they use rather than “flavouring’

Yeah, and no doubt you think Amy Macdonald is 'brewwiant' ...
Seen that Topaz Blue one in for ages.
Exactly the same flavour as Bombay Sapphire?.... ehem, well, would be nice.
Only 50cl bottles so not as good as it first looks!

    The bottle label says:

Hand made in small batches, steeping wild sloes in London dry gin

I think that answers your question?

According to the website it is made using the wild sloes, so extremely good value.

It is for the Sloe Gin at least as it works out at equivalent of £12.14 for 50cl if it came in 50cl bottles) for Tesco own brand Sloe Gin (Tesco 70cl @ £17.00)

Wild sloes are so much more difficult to catch than merely angry ones

Oh I don't know. Caught 700gms in Dovedale on Tuesday . Now to add them to some cheap Aldi gin for this year's batch. Still got the 94 to finish...
I got the sloe gin last year and it was incredible. Be quick though. They get a set allocation of some lines and once they’re gone... that’s it!
Calling a gin after Oliver Cromwell is to irish people as offensive as having Hitler's name on there would be to Jews. Just sayin.

I second this. And third it.
Also "The botanist", and "bloom" if you like a floral gin.

My thoughts exactly. Wonder if they sell it in Ireland? Doubt it...

If the Aldi Sloe Gin is £9.99 for 50cl then it is £19.98 per litre and still cheaper than the Tescos one (although not by much!).
Not sure though if Gordons is using real sloes or is as good.
Thought it started today to be able to order online?

Can't seem to find it anywhere?
This will be why there's no sign of it anywhere online yet then

You can start purchasing the gins in-store from 1 October, with online orders available from 14 November

These all seem like a "gamble gin". Anyone tried any of these before to comment on tastes please?
The two Gin Lane 1751 - are only £21.45 elsewhere anyway.....

So it appears so hardly a massive saving although when they do become available online Aldi give free delivery

    Yeah. Glad I passed though.

Whitley Neill is £20 at Tesco currently. Would rather that than the gamble at aldi
Only Topaz and Sloe Gin at my local Aldi, and TBH not many of either.
