cue: people moaning about no price in the title.

good deal this!
this is actually quite good, very underrated.
bought one a few years ago from sainsburys for this price (4.99 to be precise).
been using it for the tv, console sockets. hot!
had a set of these for ages and they are ridiculously useful and well worth a fiver. the remote is surprisingly powerful actually - i live in a flat and usually turn off my electrical stuff when i go to bed and i can turn it all back on again from the bedroom with the little remote without getting out of bed ! heat added.
I got a few sets in asda at this price a year or so ago.

Excellent set.

Comes with 3 sockets but can control 4.
I can't use the link. Is it me...........
No linky,in store deal i think.
hooray henry

No linky,in store deal i think.

Thanks. I thought my computer skills were going backwards.
There's always potential for a cock-up with these though. I remember one night when I was recording something on sky+ and accidentally pressed the "all off" button on the remote and switched everything off .. doh !
I use one to control a light that sits next to a bad ass spikey cactus that had drawn my blood several times X)
Back up to £15 in Southampton. Probably a one deal deal.

Had a set of these for a few years and they are great. One thing to remember is that they are RF and not IR so great for indirect signal, but you cant set them up on the cheaper Harmony remotes.
Got a couple boxes of these when they were last on offer at Morrisons.

One set for use, Then a second set I was looking at modding so I could control things using a web interface. New job and moving house has kinda put that on hold though. Will pick it up one day.
still a tenner in asda Coleraine last night.
Anyone know if this is still on?

£15?? I've seen them for £10 (in Asda in Farnborough) a week ago, it was normal price not any special offer.
i got these last time they were a fiver, they are great, i use them on the kid's playstaion's, an when they don't come down for "T" after calling them, their consoles go straight off! they soon come down then moaning, but hey they should come the first time i call em.
Currently have several sets of these around the house that control lights in different rooms, very handy indeed, highly recommend them.
I use one of these behind the TV / DVD / XBox etc etc - I have a trailing lead plugged into one and at the end of the night press the remote and turn it all off. I have worked out I'm saving around £60 a year in electricity by isolating everything so it paid for itself in the first month.
Yes, they are superb - have biught a few sets for a fiver in Asda (and once in Morrisons).
Bedroom lights
Fans in kids' bedrooms
Christmas tree lights
Latest use - plugged into the aerial signal booster in the attic. When kids are bad and TV is banned; "No signal" on every set. They have no idea how I do that :-)
Whatever the price marked on the shelf, still take them to the tills to be scanned as sometimes the shelf stickers are slow to be updated.
got a set for the christmas lights and they are great
Am I the only one that has bought these, and they've all stopped working? Wether they're turned on or off, the power still comes through :\
Edinburgh which Asda ? Jewel ?
can't find any
Fill the kettle at night and plug it into one of these, then from the comfort of your bed shout down to your wife to make you a cup of tea.
Anything that means i can stay in bed longer is hot for me
I loved my ones of these, but after a year or so they start randomly turning themselves off? I replaced them & again a while down the line happened all over again.

Still they are great while they work, just a word of warning.

Can't find any in Blackburn

Heat though as it's a good deal OP
Got a few packs of these almost a year ago when they were at a fiver too - bargain if you can find them! Very handy. Sometimes you have to press the button on the remote a few times for it to respond, but that's nothing for the convenience it offers =D
A few packs in dewsbury but scanning at £15

This reminds me of something that happened quite a few years ago. A friend had a telly that packed up. He knew someone else in the village who had the same telly so he kindly decided to give him the remote, but decided to have a bit of fun first, so everytime he went to, and from, the pub for a week he changed their channel, volume, turned it on and off etc. Eventually at the weekend he dropped round to give him the remote, only to find out that they had gone and bought a new telly because the old one was playing up.....

He never could bring himself to tell him the truth, even after all these years! oO

Are you sure someone is not pulling your chain? (_;)
Has anybody actually bought them today for £5?
Still £10 in Asda Toryglen Glasgow- hmph!
I have these set up for lights in my bedroom.
Great for mood lighting!

Ha ha that's awesome! No mine definitely just went.

Although when I first got them, I had a friend round & we watched a horror... After I nipped to the loo & when I was upstairs turned the telly off & before I came back down turned it on again... The did the same when I went to grab a drink, he was so freaked out by it.... I had to let him in on it in the end, but was hilarious!
Expired I think. Scanned at £15 in Caerphilly ASDA (Near Cardiff Wales).
