Mine has packed in so been looking for new one, this is cheapest I could find.

As in updates your Facebook status..

Had one of these, thought it was great until the local scally wag stole it and kept running past pressing it.

Just what I needed, reserved for collection today

Thanks OP

I had to buy a replacement bell push for my Freidland wireless doorbell just last week because somebody had stolen it!
Cost £8 ish just for the bell push!

Heat added thanks

Needed one of these in my life...... Until we bought our dog recently!! Hey presto the little dude barks whenever someone's at the front door problem solved

just food for thought.. im really glad i bought my Lloytron.. for anyone in the hunt for a new wireless doorbell i would deffo recommend paying a few extra quid for this one. :-)

Does it just have a 'ding dong' or is it musical? My mother's plays all manner of godawful music.

Last time i had one of these, our 'knock door run' players changed tatics, robbed the doorbell its self, and every so often pressed the button, never again shall i buy one

My son's kept going off with the neighbours, it was only 1 channel though. This looks like it might be 4

Hmm. Bought a Lloytron with 2 ringers a couple of weeks ago. When the bell was pressed, one of the ringers sounded every time, but the other ringer only sounded occasionally. Returned it and the replacement had the same fault. Spoke to Lloytron support but they couldn't help. Currently in dispute with the eBay retailer over this.
A video showing the fault is available here:

Not convinced by the quality of Lloytron products . . . May well give this one a try . . .

oh thats unfortunate to hear. Ive never had a problem with mine.. i only have 1 receiver and having the ability to adjust volume and 'alerts' is very useful for me. Also being partially deaf it has a good volume which i certainly find useful. Ive never had a fault with it personally so would be happy to vouch for them.. however i could see why you wouldnt!

What type batteries and how many required.

Thanks for that Jinxy.

Don't bother with this.
I bought the same bell from Asda a few months back.

The bell itself works and is cheap enough.
If, however, you want to keep going to the door with phantom rings and nobody there, then go right ahead.

This bell does not have the 4 pinouts on it so you can change the frequency either so can't do anything with it

Also it goes off at night with a completely different ring to the one that's been selected.
That was a bit eery the first time it happened! lol.

It's cheap, but cheap for a reason and a search says I am not alone either.

Hot price but cold product.
I am off to throw mine at a Jehovah's witness!

Mine had pins, think the Asda version may be different

It looks the same, but fair enough if you can swap pins over which is a big plus then
Just for reference, my model number was SC329R. Don't buy it! lol

Great deal if they have fixed the major flaw with this model

I prefer big knockers.
