Inspired by the popular comic book series produced by Top Cow Productions, Inc., The Darkness II is an intense first-person shooter that delivers a twisted and gripping narrative of tragedy, modern crime drama, and supernatural horror.

Players will be taken down the brutal and personal path of Jackie Estacado, head of a New York crime family and wielder of an ancient and ruthless force of chaos and destruction known as The Darkness.

It’s been two years since Jackie Estacado used The Darkness to kill the men responsible for his girlfriend’s murder. He’s been unable to shake the memory of Jenny’s death since bottling up his supernatural power and now The Darkness wants out. A sudden, unprovoked attack by a mysterious organization known as the Brotherhood heralds the start of a full-scale war and opens the door for The Darkness to reemerge, setting Jackie on a journey to hell and worse.

Features

  • 4-Player Co-op Campaign - Play as one of four unique characters each capable of wielding weapons infused with Darkness powers.
  • Quad-Wielding Chaos - Slash, grab and throw objects and enemies with the Demon Arms while simultaneously firing two weapons, adding a new dimension to the FPS category.
Harness an Unstoppable Power - Master the Demon Arms and summon the powers of The Darkness for even more explosive gameplay.
  • Kill the Lights - The vicious powers of The Darkness manifest only in the shadows so use the environment to your advantage and watch out for enemies who will use light as a weapon.
Intense and Personal Journey - Experience a dark, twisted and gripping story written exclusively for the game by acclaimed comic book author Paul Jenkins whose credits also include The Incredible Hulk, Wolverine, and the original The Darkness game.
  • Distinctive Graphic-Noir Style - Graphic novel shading and color combined with the dramatic lighting of film noir pays tribute to the source material and brings the pages of the comic series to life. Inspired by the popular comic book series created by Top Cow.

Thanks OP bought and heat added.
Really good game. I bought it at launch and loved every minute, you can't go wrong for a penny

Tried to PM but says Ure opted out of private messages
All I keep getting is unexpected error with the steam key I got glad it was only 0.01

Yours says same lol
actually very good game.
Decent game, but it's so frustrating that 1 was never ported to PC. So much better.
2 is so much fun, even if 1 is a better atmospheric experience. recommend very much!
Why not just offer it for free? Seems a bit silly but still, heat from me

What's the full error message? Doesn't sound like a problem with the key necessarily, more like an issue with Steam. Try again later.
Are you serious? Promoting a black market key reseller? Really? I'm genuinely shocked; this is appalling. And on the same week as the G2A scandal too. This is the digital equivalent of buying a Blu Ray player from the back of a van. Anyone know how to contact the site admins?

EDIT: posted by an Editor too!!

Are you sure they're black market? I've got keys from them before.

Yes, they're a marketplace so have no idea where the keys come from. At best it's people buying cheap keys in one region and reselling, at worst it's criminals using stolen credit cards to launder money. Surely the fact you have to pay extra to guarantee you get a key tells you everything you need to know.

Flipping heck, times are hard if they are laundering money at 1p at a time!

It's a marketplace. We're not buying latest releases of the back of a lorry, we're buying old stock from bundles that are being used to create interest in the site as a loss leader.

Gavimo offer buyer protection because they are a business. They want a bigger cut than they are getting on the 1p sale. Honestly, if you take buyer protection on a 1p risk you are missing the point. Risk free purchase with PayPal if you think it's worth paying the PayPal charges. Great game (already played it). Heat added. More 1p deals please!

1. The origin of the keys is unknown and not stated anywhere. Find me proof they came from bundles. It's worth saying that even if the keys in this specific deal came from bundles, that's still shady and a poor business practice, and a reason why bundles aren't as prevalent these days.
2. You for some reason don't find it strange that you could buy something online and not receive it unless you pay more for protection? If the alarm bells aren't ringing there then they certainly should be. Not sure why anyone would defend this practise, yet you have.
3. Your point about money laundering at 1p is something that you yourself refute later. This deal is set up by Gamivo to get people to create an account and use the website.
4. Fairly new user, no deals posted. Hello Gamivo rep.
5. How come /r/GameDeals doesn't allow deals from Gamivo?

I really don't understand why anyone other than a Gamivo rep would attempt to refute my points.

Sounds like an issue with buying black market keys and nothing to do with Steam.

If you Google the error message you'll end up on Steam support pages that say if you get that error message then there's an error on their side somewhere and you should just wait and try again later. If the key was fake or previously used, it would be giving a different error message, talking about how the key is invalid or has previously been used.

I agree with some of your above points - I don't understand why HUKD allows deals from Gamivo when they don't allow deals from G2A or Kinguin (or eBay if it's not from a business seller with a reputation outside of eBay, such as Argos, etc.) as these key reselling sites all work in the same way, so you're just as likely to find a seller trying to scam people on one of those sites as any other, so allowing Gamivo and not the others is just double standards. HUKD must be getting some sort of referral incentive from Gamivo - which the end of the deal URL (utm_source=HUKD) seems to suggest.

But, that said, let's not assume that every seller on there is a scammer. That would be like assuming that, if you ever buy anything from eBay, it's going to be stolen, or you're just going to get a box with a brick in it. I've sold plenty of bundle leftovers on Kinguin, G2A and Gamivo and I've never scammed anyone. This particular game has been given away for free before (Humble Store last year) so I don't find it strange at all that there are tons of unwanted keys floating around. If the Gamivo seller somehow got thousands of keys from that offer then I think Humble would probably like a word with them, but I think it's safe to say they're not stolen.

Believe what you want. I do.

I believe in freedom of choice.

You believe I'm a Gavimo rep because I have defended people posting their Gavimo deals twice in 1 week, but you can't comprehend that I might be right and you/they might be wrong. Ok then, you are right and I'm raking it in. £2.63 today and climbing..... woo hoo. ...!

I'm not a rep, I just don't like scaremongers cos the world is full of them. I like to take a pragmatic view on the world and be a free thinker. I am sorry for you that someone having a different opinion in the world offends you, but that is your problem not mine.

1. Does anyone say where they aquired anything on eBay or Amazon or anywhere in the real world? Are they massive organisations? Do people get scammed? Occasionally.... hence why I mentioned PayPal. Does the world cry about it? No, we've all been stung and we then act and guard against it ourselves without your help.

2. No one forces you to take the added buyer protection. It's optional. Don't take it. I never have, never had an issue, but I never buy anything expensive. It's Gavimo. I buy for pennies usually not pounds.

3. Gavimo is a marketplace. Buyer beware, see 1 and 2 above.

4. Yup..... If that makes you sleep tonight. But guess what, you are still wrong.

5. No idea, never heard of it. Will educate myself later and then form a rational and informed opinion. Thanks for the heads up.

Last comment... see all of the above. Still not a rep so you are still wrong... off to play some of my 600+ steam library rather than trading comments on here. Peace

Stop virtue signalling.

I get it if it's an indie but it's 2K, they have enough money

TL;DR Gamivo rep

TLDR

Too Long. Didn't Read.

Frequently used acronym by lazy, ignorant people in Internet Forums, where their urge to type something exceeds their ability to read something or if they generally lack semantic ability to either comprehend or respond to a post due to underdeveloped brain.

I need more convincing before I take the plunge.
I really loved this game.
Went to jump on it but then checked my steam account. Already own it. Probably from a humble bundle. Great games though. Own them both on 360 and ps3. Damn shame that the first isn't available on pc
I even enjoyed the comics about the games. I've also agreed with others comments concerning Gamivo. Purchased a few items from there. With no protection. Never any issues. Even Kinguin and G2A in the past and the same applies. Maybe it's just luck!
Cheers @BuzzDuraband! Always check on your gaming deals mate. Also Joey's deals. Feck the negative responses. You guys just keep doing your thing!
