3rd-party DRM: FrontLine ProActive
3 machine activation limit pass for me, gameplay look really nice too

DRM is killing the PC Market - pick up a copy illegally and you don't have any hoops to jump through. DRM has gone too far when a legit purchaser has a worse experience than an illegal one - and the Ubisoft DRM for Assassins Crred 2 is just the final nail in the PC coffin.

That's rather absurd, Assassin's Creed 2 will get re-released a year or so down the line with something reasonable (even assuming Ubisoft don't change plans before or soon after release), this DRM nonsense will pass and any company that doesn't moderate it will go out of business.

Thanks for this. I have been looking for this game to drop in price as £30 was a bit too much and this is perfect. I really liked this game and the joystick I have works brilliantly with it. I don't care about the DRM as I don't reformat frequently and probably won't anyway in the next year or so.
