Depends how you play it.
It is more than a game just never got my wife to understand that in the middle of a fight I couldn't just hit the pause button as the niverse kept running and if you left it like that you would likely find yourself destroyed when you came back to it.
This game is so different in VR and it is VR that brought me back to it after a number of years absence.
Still remember the original on the BBC computer in black and white.

I bought it while ago for about £20. Had an r9 290 at the time so couldn't really do VR on it as the resolution was too low. Got frustrated by the steep learning curve and kind of fell out with it. I guess it's another one of those games you need to invest a lot of time in it. Similar issue with EVE I guess. Also got bored with the long travelling in space.
