Love Fallout3 GOTY. How does 4 compare?

Runs smoother, better graphics, gunplay, great upgradeable system (weapons, armour, power armour etc) but I enjoyed the story more in fallout 3 and the overall vibe that game gives.. Especially the DLCs. The DLC in fallout 4 is quite poor in comparison. Still love fallout 4..completed it 4 times and the mod support is just as good as it was on the previous games the work shop (base building) part of the game is great too, highly recommended checking that out

What about all glitches and bugs in the game ? Are they fix them ? I saw some bad reviews about that.
Brilliant value! I finally started playing it a few weeks ago and am now around 90 hours in and loving it. Currently enjoying the Nuka World DLC.

Fallout 3 is better. For £6 though Fallout 4 with DLC is an insane amount of game. 100 hours plus if you merely dabble with settlements a little and go through the DLC. Much more if you get into the settlement building seriously.

Mods are fairly well refined at this point and can help with a lot of the issues, notably performance ones. It's still a Bethesda Fallout game though, so plenty of bugs. At least it's all well documented now though and you can fix them easy enough with console commands or whatever.

Thankfully there are mods to fix what Bethesda plops out!
I played it a lot on Xbox when it came out then the DLC too and this is definitely worth £6. Base building sucked though. Was hoping for dual wield and Preston was always sending me on missions I'd already done. Hope it's better now due to mods.

Better in most ways. I think people saying 3 is better are just running on nostalgia rather than having played FO3 anytime recently to properly see how far it's come since. Going back is super difficult, and the world is way less frustrating to navigate, which was always one of the most annoying things about FO3.

You know you dont *have* to do every mission given to you, right? If you dont want to go help some settlement, then dont. I played on Survival(with a few mods to make it more bearable) and without fast travel, trying to protect or establish all these settlements was just super impractical, and it was hardly any problem at all just doing my own thing instead. There's a minimum level of settlement stuff you need to do for the Minutemen, but it's not a problem if you keep it to that.
The game is not without faults but plenty of fun is to be had, I found it easy to get immersed into the world. Far Harbor DLC and Glowing Sea area were my favourites. Tons of mods to pick and choose from, make sure to grab achievement enabler if you care about that.

You can bypass or expand settlement stuff with mods to make it less tedious.
Great game
Brilliant game, did 120 hours to finish it and still lots to explore! Still prefer fallout 3 as found it more atmospheric, and gritty,

Do they sorted key mapping? I am leftie and couldnt play becouse of hard codded loot key
Decent game ruined with super hard bosses and zero ammo.
Brilliant deal. But I just cannot get on with the PC version. The loading times, even on a ssd are beyond rediculous. It's borderline game breaking
Had the standard version since release but didnt wanna pay for the overpriced Dlc, this is perfect Thx op!
Still haven't started Fallout 3 Goty. Which has been in my library for about 5 years. So no point taking this one but good price for those wanting to play it.
Monster game. Not as good as Fallout New Vegas from a narrative or roleplaying perspective in my opinion but if you want to blast bad guys in a good looking environment then this tops them all!

I prefer Fallout 4 as it's less depressing, but enjoy the story of 3 a bit better (also, Liam Neeson). Both are excellent games, especially for this price

It was more the fact that the same missions were repeating which just shouldn't be happening.

The other thing that drove me nuts was spending time building a perimeter fence and defences only to have the game spawn attackers inside the base! The game trailers for base building specifically showed attackers storming the base via the bridge rather than magically teleporting in. It rendered non shooting defensive options pretty much useless and seemed poorly implemented.
An outstanding game, well worth £5.99
£6.99 now.

Aren't you thinking of Fall Out 76?
Bought this deal thanks. Played for 80 mins so far and have encountered bugs like looking at consoles and not being able to go back, forcing to load game.

Would recommend.

No, not really. You could always lower the difficulty and select the appropriate perk for ammo.

Because of the introduction of settlement building, you'll end up hoarding and lugging around everything.

Turrets, turrets and more turrets.
Link say it is now £ 6.99, do I miss something?
Yes, you missed it being £5.99
Hmmm can i play this in VR using an oculus quest?
What about mods when you play via Nvidia Shield TV connected to steam account?
