Be the hero in your own cinematic epic of action, tension and terror. A mysterious paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound, taking hostages but issuing no demands. The government responds by sending in a Special Forces team only to have them obliterated. Live footage of the massacre shows an inexplicable wave of destruction tearing the soldiers apart. With no other recourse, the elite F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) team is assembled to deal with the extraordinary circumstances. They are given one simple mission: Evaluate the threat and eliminate the intruders at any cost.

  • F.E.A.R. Extraction Point: Extraction Point kicks off where the original game ended – with a bang. As the helicopter which the F.E.A.R. team is on attempts to leave the vicinity, it instead winds up crashing. The F.E.A.R. team is thus forced to seek out an alternate extraction point, all the way battling the now free Alma and her paranormal minions across a destroyed city.

  • F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate: As the first F.E.A.R. team and Delta Force fight for control of the situation, a second F.E.A.R. team is sent in to shed some light on Armacham Technology Corporation's (ATC) dark past. As a member of a secondary F.E.A.R. team, you are brought in to discover more information regarding the secret project at the ATC facilities.

Features F.E.A.R.

  • F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) is an intense combat experience with rich atmosphere and a deeply intense paranormal storyline presented entirely in first person. Be the hero in your own spine-tingling epic of action, tension, and terror... and discover the true meaning of F.E.A.R.

  • As part of this elite classified strike team created to deal with the most unusual and shocking of threats your mission is simple: Eliminate the intruders at any cost. Determine the origin of the signal. And contain this crisis before it spirals out of control.

  • Hyper-stylized combat for breathtaking cinematic quality action

  • Advanced graphics and physics for visceral movie-like experience

I remember playing the first game. Quite a few scare moments
One of my all time fav games. Replayed it so many times. Still gives me chills.
Played the whole series all the way through to Fear3 including all dlc. Loved it.

Id happily play the first one plus the dlc if it was given the HD texture treatment like 2K did with the Bioshock series.

Although they were all good for making you jump I do think the first 2 particularly made you wet yourself

They missed a trick not doing a Fear 4
Looks quite good (4k ultra)

I just got marty mcfly ray tracing mod yesterday for reshade (5 pounds) to make games look better.

Started off with allen wake as it is a light based game!

Sometimes textures look dated on old games but have so many oldies to play eg fallout 3 one day!

It’s an improvement certainly. What do you need to do to achieve that then?

I aim to post it as a deal with some videos as existing videos out there not great.

1. Download reshade. Have to click on game you want to play and it overwrites some files and adds it own directory.

Have to know whether it is using dx9 dx10 dx11 dx12 or vulkan and click correct option but there is a website with list of games.

2. Have to sign up to marty mcfly Patreon for 5 us dollars a month plus vat was £4.80. I believe you can cancel rightaway but will miss updates.

3. Click a link to add his channel to your discord

4. Go there and find and download his zip file in patreon section.

5. Copy his files to the reshade directory for the game you are doing.

6. When launch game open reshade with home button. Then click on ray tracing which is near the bottom.

I also configure a key for on off (end) so can tap it to see it on and off

I havve just used defaults so far and made a big difference in allan wake but not much in Doom.

Someone else (ditigal dreams) has a wider set of reshade profiles using other tools for doom and other games.

This is a video for witcher 3 and thought was a good project for easter weekend!

This is resident evil 2 too but wondered if he uses other effects

I've had a look at they reshade options before, think it was for Fallout 4 and Half-life 2. It was too much effort and payment subscriptions for me. Spent more time configuring than playing the game. I always think a game is good enough to play as it is. But I understand how people love getting the best out of the graphics and mods.
Does FEAR still have SecuROM or been removed in this edition?
