Most of the games are played on your phone on the jackbox website.

Here is a comprehensive review of all the individual games:

Pack Summary:

Pack 1 - Skip it. Two games are trash, the other three get superior sequels.

Pack 2 - Honestly, this pack might be number 1 or 2 if it just wasn't so obsolete. Quiplash and Fibbage get sequels, Earwax sucks, and Bomb Corp is 4 player. Get it on sale for Bidiots and Bomb Corp.

Pack 3 - This pack is great because it's the only pack where NONE of the games are bad. Every other pack has at least one game that just takes up space. It's also got some of the most variety, with a "be funny" game, a trivia game, a creativity-based drawing game, a decision game, and a social deduction/communication game [Pack 4 and 2 both have no real trivia, Pack 1 has no "be funny", Pack 5 has no social deduction]. I'd say that although Pack 5 may be better, this one you should get first.

Pack 4 - This one you should definitely pick up at some point, as it has the best Fibbage, Monster Seeking Monster, and Enough About You. The other 3 games suck. Get it at a good discount.

Pack 5 - This one is basically tied with Pack 3. It's got four games in my 12 game rotation compared to three games in Pack 3, but it also has a dud. Another thing about this pack is that all the games (except for YDKJ) are pretty complex to play, especially when compared to something like Quiplash which is just "write a funny".

Heat added, always reminds me of that old joke about having a party in my underpants....etc
Who is Jack?
I don't think I've seen a better deal on these games. They sell individually for £6+ (cheapest they have been) with the newer ones being more expensive. Steam's currently selling the Quadpack at £56, but the cheapest it's ever been was around £30.

Think I'm gonna have to get this.
Is 3 and 4 worth it ? Got the others bug haven't played them in years

Jackbox Party 3 is definitely worth it, even if it's only for Quiplash 2 & Trivia Murder Party alone.
Typical timing
I've just got Party Pack 1,2 & 3 on the PS4 and Pack 4 on Steam - I think I paid about top tier just for #4

Heat - I might pick up the 1st tier to round it off...
Do the games each come as a key on their own or is each tier covered by a bundle key?

This is a stonkingly hot deal, I went with the top tier and got everything. Will be fun busting these out for gatherings.

Going for the top tier you get all the solus You Don't Know Jack games which some appear in the four party packs so you could always gift those to someone else. Great find Buzz!

Each item listed has there own key.
You won't regret getting the Jackbox party packs. Absolutely fun and with the variation in games there is something for everyone. Highly recommend.
out of interest how do people play these at gatherings ? i have a steam link (still unboxed...) and my shield box can stream from my pc but does it need 4 (or however many) pads connected or do they tend to be pass-the-pad affairs ?

You get the guests to visit a webpage on their phones and they can play through that. Don't even have to install an app, which could be a pain when you've had a few xD

Pretty much agree with all of this.
We play the Jackbox games on our stream and party pack 3 is the best. Quiplash, Fibbage, Murder Triva and Survive The Internet are the main games we end up playing.

Just to be clear this refers to the Jackbox Party Pack series whereas there are other games in these bundles

I wouldn't get the BTA bundle, there's a YDKJ classic pack that's often cheaper (£7.50) and sometimes much cheaper (£3) that includes:
  • YOU DON'T KNOW JACK Vol. 1 XL
  • YOU DON'T KNOW JACK Vol. 2
YOU DON'T KNOW JACK Vol. 3
YOU DON'T KNOW JACK Vol. 4 The Ride
  • YOU DON'T KNOW JACK Vol. 6 The Lost Gold
  • YOU DON'T KNOW JACK TELEVISION
  • YOU DON'T KNOW JACK MOVIES
  • YOU DON'T KNOW JACK SPORTS
  • YOU DON'T KNOW JACK HEADRUSH

The only games that are in the BTA bundle that aren't in the classic pack are
Drawful 2
  • Quiplash
  • Fibbage XL

So you're saying BTA isn't worth it, but by and large the best game out of all available here is Jackbox Party Pack 3 and you need to pay £12.41 to get that, so you might as well get the whole lot? Best price online for it appears to be just under a tenner, and it sells for £18.99 on Steam.
It's worth noting that when I paid $15 for the full set I also got an offer for the Jackbox Party Pack 5 for another $13 on top which makes that less than half price of what it currently is on Steam as well.

All I'm saying is that it doesn't seem to be worth getting the BTA pack. Someone else says that JPP3 is the best of the Jackbox party pack series, not the entire series. Whether JPP3 is worth getting is up for debate
Would any of these games be suitable for an 8year old? He enjoys ‘knowledge is power’
This is all fun and games, but make sure you set the family friendly settings on, before you play fakin' it with the kids. Learnt that one the hard way.
