Seems Game have some overstock of the Steam Link. You can reserve and collect from store. Checked Leeds, Newcastle and London who all have stock...somewhere.

Stream your games to your TV with Steam Link

Simplicity
Setup is easy. Just connect your Steam Link to your TV and home network, where it will automatically discover any computer running Steam. All that’s left to do is grab your favorite controller, kick back, and enjoy your collection of games from the comfort of your couch.

Performance
Steam Link is designed to take advantage of the horsepower you already have in your home, streaming from your current gaming computer by mirroring its experience to your TV. Video and audio data is sent from your computer to the Steam Link, while your controller input is sent back in real time. Virtually every game that your computer runs can be played on your TV using Steam Link.

Thought it worth a share for those who can grab it
No stock in Leeds anymore, unless you meant Bradford/The 3 nearest stores to Leeds.
how do you reserve online?

Guessing these'll be on sale in today's steam sale then
There is stock at the Trafford centre for anyone looking
I still use it to stream movies and games to my tv :P
Cheap
how do i actually order? cold if i ghave to leave the house buzz
Wardour Street. London. I think its one of GAMEs Flagship stores with eSport facilities in the basement. Down the road from Sony and Nickelodeon offices. They are listing them as stock available. Be aware that there is the proviso of Price may differ in GAME store.

Don't bother using the store locator to find postcodes for the stores. GAME website is responding with 'please enter valid postcode' 4 out of the last 5 times. Ive tried different postcodes

How do I order though?
Check the apps on any modern smart TV. My Samsung from last year has a steam link app which I don't need the separate box.
Showing stock in Bristol, if that helps anyone

Yes mine has that as well.
Good stock at York apparently. Can't be bothered driving all that way though
Stock at Cribbs Causeway, Bristol
Last time this was this price I could reserve at store but I never received a confirmation text to say it was ready to pick up.

This time I don't appear to be able to reserve it anyway. Not driving to the Bullring if I can't reserve it.

None in Leicester.

On an additional note I had massive issues over WIFI with my Steam Link but on a wired connection it is pretty awesome. Got one when Game were selling them for £4 before.
Bought one months ago when the price dropped to £11.99... used it once, sat in the cupboard ever since.

Intended to cut my losses and sell it to CEX whilst they were still buying for £9 but never got round to it... now dropped to £3

Does it lag at all? Is the software slow?
When I went into my nearest Game the last time it was £3.99, the guy said they don't have these in store and you have to order it online to get it for that price...
Great price, I was after one of these for Christmas but hubby bought me a fab pc that sits by the TV so I don't need one anymore. Good luck for anyone that does though!
Grabbed one a few weeks ago, but had problems finding my pc, eventually got it to find when fully wired in but could never track down the wifi issues. Lag I expected, unable to even locate the pc I didn't. Any tips when I try set it up xmas day, when it's "unwrapped"?

I use it on 5GHz wifi, tiny tiny bit of lag but fine for general games, for FPS and Rocket League (fast paced games) its not great.
If wired its meant to be virtually lag free though I've never had it wired, i just use it for just displaying my PC on the TV which it does quite well.

Only issue is that you can't switch the box on without unplugging and plugging in the power. Yes its a massive design flaw.
Can only switch it on with Steam Controller or an Xbox controller thats synced to it. Means you need 2 xbox controllers if you use one for the PC and one for the Link unless you like syncing and un-syncing between the 2 devices, and ain't nobody got time for that!
USB keyboard/mouse doesn't switch it on. Which is what i use with it.
Got mine from traffic centre. Cheers.

I remember paying £40 two years ago I think, selling on a month later. Hasn't really set the world on fire has it.

Omg that would be amazing. LG perchance too?
I've never gotten mine to work to a satisfactory level. Powerline internet connection to TV downstairs and still get lagging/freezing even on 'slow' games like Life is Strange etc. After online research it seems to be a thing for some people and there is not a definite root cause.
I think the reason it never took off is they released it without ironing out the bugs.
Got mine - Thanks OP!

Tried last time and missed it so very happy.

I was in Bristol Centre, but looks like I got the last one.

Loads in Birmingham Bullring, be prepared to queue though!
Can someone explain to me what this steam is?

Is it a cloud based gaming platform?
Does anyone have a reservation for one in London that they no longer want? If so then please message me.
