This seems to be tanking hard! At this rate it'll be a fiver in a couple of weeks... Voted hot for now though!

£11 because it's pap.

Prefect thanks ordered thank to OP

Had this for an afternoon, uninstalled after about 2 hours max. Arcade mode easy as pie, story mode boring. No Wolverine or Akuma for bizarre reasons, hard pass and I would suggest any fans of the series pass too sadly

@dark_nugget is it really that bad?

thinking about getting this despite owning it on ps4... got a couple friends on steam I want to play against, anyone know how the online is for this on PC?

Depends how much you are into fighting games, I enjoy the game - Online is a much better experience for me than past iterations in the series. Characters feel more viable too, but I do face alot of Dormammu, Ultron and Dantes from my experience. Music is non-existent though, with only Captain Marvel, Ultron having decent themes imo.

The core system mechanics of the game are fun, but it has its issues - mainly its roster list, graphics (to some) and music.

It isn't bad, it just seems like MVC3 with characters and features removed. The Arcade bosses are super easy (which was never the case with the older games) and the story mode is really dull - fighting the same robot enemy over and over. All the characters seem like they aren't really interacting with each other and it plays out a bit like a fan edit of the marvel films.

Plus side to it is that the combat is quite smooth, but there are characters which are heads and shoulders above everyone else (Dante and Chun Li for example absolutely destroy Rocket Racoon and the fella from Super Gouls and Ghosts).

It is a solid mediocre, a true 5/10. And in addition to that, you know for a fact that they will bring out a deluxe edition in a year with tonnes of extra characters that will be incompatible with this version (like MVC3 did).

I would say at £10 it is still a no, but at a fiver I suppose it would be worth a play. For me it was an instant refund but I understand everyone has different taste. I suggest that, with games like Tekken 7 out currently and Mortal Kombat XL/Injustice 2, there are much better fighting games available right now. Hope that helps.

Prices like this are what make me envy PC gamers. Literally hang fire and unless its GTA V or Overwatch it'll hit steam sale-like prices within weeks.

Its even funnier after seeing the most recent update where DLC characters are £6.49 each and alternate costumes are £3.29. Talk about nickle and dimeing the fanbase Capcom!

N.B I'm waiting for a sale if anything for those DLC characters. Those prices are making SFV's look reasonable.

Only difference I would say is that for this title if you're into your online gaming there might not be a wild pool of players to play against. Unlike SFV, MvCI doesn't have crossplay and is already struggling for sales as it is. but i agree on the steam sale for sure.

@dark_nugget Thanks for the info I will try it out and see how I get on

Would MVC 3 ultimate be a better purchase if a cheap key can be obtained

Steam keys for MVC3 were not widely distributed so you'd be lucky to find it cheaper than this.
It will probably be reduced to £11.99 again in the next sale.

LMAO this game has been out for what 3 weeks?

Ouch. Nice fail Capcpom.

Good deal though!

Just wait for the ULTIMATE MVC:INFINITE to be released lol
