nope, the first game is set hundreds or thousands of years before Ni no Kuni II and as for your second question Voidu is the cheapest at the moment at £29.44.

Not at all, although the 1st is definatly a better game in my opinion. they removed the "Pokemon style catch them all" aspect which is a huge shame as it was a good driver to carry-on through the game. This is a good game in itself as its own RPG and at that price is an utter bargain! i paid £40 when it was released ^.^
Its a great game at this price. If you have an HDR TV then check the steam forum for a patch to make it work again - the art style in many areas really benefits from HDR.

I believe HDR is only an issue for Geforce graphics cards....could be wrong, but I do have the HDR issue, not yet applied the patch.

Prob is just NV cards as you say, worked up to a certain driver release. NV blame the game, Devs did nothing, but a user patched the error. Many areas do look great in HDR - whereas some games its not worth it.

True, I use an RTX Geforce card , so yes maybe it will still work in HDR on older cards.

This is great price. Realy nice art style as expected from Level 5. Theres some intersting variety in gameplay too. Have some heat OP.
