I've heard this is meant to be a good game now? Time to finally bite?
I did (bite). I've been tempted before anyway, and if the vr update is any good I wouldn't be surprised if the price goes up again
Wow the price is quite high still, i would have expected this to be at least £5-£10 by now, thinking of buying it for the VR mode, but not sure if i would actually get around to playing it, i remember trying the vanilla game and it was boring as hell, nothing much to do and very repetitive. Has that stuff gotten better yet?
No man's buy
It's cheaper on CD Keys at £14.79. You need to forget how this game was at launch. They have added so much to it now that it's well worth the money.

Sounds good, but im just not sure if i could get into it even with VR. Maybe the reviews change my mind, i really liked Eve Valkrie in VR but even that was a bit to slow, for this ill wait for a Humble Bundle Monthly download or when its under £10 i guess.

The price is quite high but they are constantly bringing out new upgrades. The latest one is due out on the 14th of this month. If I were you, I'd buy it and start playing then as it is a pretty huge patch. I bought it after the "Next" upgrade and to be honest I thought it was pretty amazing. I've put well over a 150 hours into the game. 'Beyond' brings much better multiplayer, VR and a huge game update. More depth to the biomes, extra biomes, a new galaxy, extra races and some of the animals roaming around on the planets can now be ridden as mounts.
All updates have been free so far and this huge one is out in just a few days. The trailer is actual game footage and not hype (unlike the initial release). How do I know? It's not a million miles away from how the game actually looks and plays now.
