The cheapest yet for local co-op game Overcooked, previously around £5.

"Overcooked is a chaotic couch co-op cooking game for one to four players. Working as a team, you and your fellow chefs must prepare, cook and serve up a variety of tasty orders before the baying customers storm out in a huff."

Gourmet Edition is £5.24, The Lost Morsel for £1.35 separately (presumably buying the Gourmet Edition would be cheaper if you already own the game).

Reviews (well reviewed):
Overcooked Metacritic: 81% (15 critics, 7.7 from 40 users), Steam: Very Positive 92% (2369 reviews)

Totalbiscuit awarded it his (arbitrary) "innovation in multiplayer" (link to specific time in video) award in 2016.

Agreed, it's a very clever game as each of the actions are very basic but the game cleverly keeps it varied and challenging with a variety of meals to have to serve and kitchen designs that are increasingly challenging. When you fail it doesn't feel frustrating as you want to get straight back into it and try to do it better.

It supports up to four players although I played though the full game with just two of us and had a lot of fun with it.

Great game, so much fun co-op. Just wish there were more levels... some easier ones too

3-starred everything except the soup on the flipping boat such a good game

You don't know who you truly are until you're trapped on one side of the kitchen, while the soup you worked so hard on is burning on the other and your "partner" - instead of putting the fire out - is spinning around in a circle with the extinguisher spraying going "look at me, I'm the snow princess!" and all the while the clock ticks, the orders begin to cancel and you feel your 3 stars slipping away. That's when the rage and the violence, the darkness that burns in the heart of man, begins to bubble and spit, force it's way through the cracks in your superego... and it's why I don't play this with my kids any more.

Great write up! Havent played with four yet either, but really enjoyed it with two.

Very fun game. Totally recommended!

Bought the dlc version and played it with my 5 year old. He loved it and said it was challenging. But we got 3 stars eventually on the first 2 levels.

And when he got the fire extinguisher, he played with it until the level ended and laughed all the way through it..... I was smh whilst trying to make soup on my own.

Also there is no online co op but u can do it via Nvidia gameshare and moonlight chrome.... Check the steam forum to see the workaround.
