Yeah, I finally bit the bullet on this one too. My Mrs isn't really into gaming but I'm going to get her to try the split screen co-op mode (needs 2 joypads connected via Steam) and see whether she likes it. 95% sure she won't

maybe i am wrong, but I think you can even use ps4 controllers. also, i think you can use two monitors as one for the splitscreen. check this post:google.co.uk/amp…rs/
Seems like a good price to dive into this, cheers OP

Yup, that's the route I'm going down. Might even be able to use 1 x PS4 and 1 x Xbox One controller, which is what I use on Road Redemption and that works OK.

That is quite amazing: on your steam, the age of Tutor was born, uniting the house of Lancaster (PS4) and the house of York (xbox) into a unified family. haha
Loving this game at the moment, not normally a genre im into, but it's fantastic. If you are on the fence, definitely pick it up for this price
Not sure to buy this on PC or PS4.

My PC is a few years old (i5 2500k and R9 280X), and I don't like when games push the fans to 100%. But seems like the kind of game that will work better with mouse/keyboard.

I heard that the ps4 version is a bit difficult to see because usually you will sit further to the screen. using mouse to me is more natural for this type of srpg

First game didn't get my fans running that much, and I'm on a 2500k with a 390. But I only run at 1080 and lock nearly everything to 72/60fps (slightly regret getting a 144 monitor, although I've always profiled everything anyway). I can understand you might want to go couch and controller though, D:OS took me bloomin ages and gave me a good dose of RSI

forums suggest performance isn't too taxing
For the OP, if you'd like a slimmer metroidvania, Ghost 1.0 is on sale too - from the guy who made Unepic: 3.49 here
