W.o.w... Cheers B!

Ouch, I just bought the other day.

Great game. Absolutely recommend it to everyone who likes horror games!

Wow, this is dropping nicely already...

Heat OP, but I'm not biting yet

Only thing I'd mention is that even though it's a good game it really isn't optimised well for the PC. Don't try running it at high resolutions basically.

dont forget 8% quidco

This game is very good, and this is coming from someone who didn't really get on with the original. Took me 20 hours on nightmare with the sidequests.

Word. Apparently, the GPU only gets utilized by 70-80%. Hoping to see a patch soon.

ffs. Paid £25.99 for this 2 days ago...

Absolutely fantastic deal. Its a great game.

I hope PS4 price drops soon.

Wow good price but I still need to finish first game. I need more time. I am half way through the game. By the time I finish it game should cost 15 pounds. I am ok with this.

Yeah something not quite right with it my 1080 ti runs alot hotter playing this than any other game i can get about 45 fps 4k but it runs better at 2k 60fps and still looks just as good imo. I only started playing it last night first impressions are good.

I'm itching to play stuff like this, Mordor and Wolfenstein but lately prices have been tanking within a few weeks of release. Literally no point buyng stuff on release day now.

Just hold onto your wallets guys, jump back on that multiplayer game you love and hold out a little longer. Surely there's countless titles in your steam libraries that you have even booted?

Sub-£15 before Christmas I reckon? Perfect timing, for me anyway

I'd give you more heat if I could OP...

Can someone remind me how to get the 5% off, I've done it dozens of times but for some reason tonight I can't seem to remember what I'm doing?

Without a doubt, look at other single player games like Prey, tanked to £15 in a few weeks.

Thanks OP, I've still got EW1 to play so going to hold out

Use infinite ammo cheat and it's finished.

What is the Facebook code?

Genuine question; How legit is cdkeys when it comes to the dev actually getting money? It seems to get quite a bit of hate on reddit (though anything does on that forum really).

You don't need to worry about this. The majority of developers on a game like this are salary paid employees.

It's grey market. They buy keys in bulk from cheaper regions (such as Russia) and then sell them on in more expensive regions. They are not official resellers, and whilst it's unlikely that your key will be deactivated, I still refuse to buy from them.

They are banned on Reddit GameDeals; that Subreddit has a very well-defined (and fair) set of rules. If I'm ever in doubt I look there.

I'm quite disappointed that an editor of this site is posting their "deals". It's cheaper because it's a loophole. A website as widely-used as HUKD should only be allowing submissions from reputable vendors. What happens if you have a problem with your key and CDKeys refuse to help? At least with Steam you know your key will work.

Incorrect. Depriving developers of expected income has several effects. For one, if you liked the game you're reducing the chance of it getting a sequel. You'll also be increasing the probability that the publisher looks towards loot boxes in the future to make money. Don't forget, the developers will be paid less when it comes to future bonuses/pay reviews. And finally you're encouraging publishers to include more restrictive DRM in the future, to attempt to stop this.

Why is it always you spreading fake news?

Steam Halloween sale is on next week - I'd hold out for that.

No fake news here. It's the truth. The keys they resell have been purchased legitimately. They're just being sold at below market rate because CDKeys are an unofficial reseller and haven't signed the same agreements as the likes of Game, Amazon, GMG etc. CDKeys do not sell stolen products. That happens on the likes of G2A, Kinguin etc but not on CDKeys.

Keep mouthing off nonsense about things you don't understand if you like though, we don't mind. A little education though, in the AAA games industry only the top level of coders, artists, producers and directors receive any bonuses or sales commission. Junior-mid level employee and back office support staff don't.

And just a little extra, I cannot believe you are liking your own posts. Stop that now. It just makes you look like a ponce.

I only ask because of what happened to Visceral who've been shut down recently. In a recent article, their Dead Space 2 (one of my fav IPs) sold 4 mil copies but it wasn't enough. Suppose that's why there was a question mark on whether DS3 would be developed, and when it was, it took a more action co-op orientated experience which wasn't received well (I liked it). Would hate to know if I contribute to incidents like these due to buying from the likes of cdkeys :-/

Nowhere did I say that they sell stolen keys. They're selling below market rate because they sell across regions. Not because they "refuse to sign the same agreements". If they don't sign agreements they aren't sold keys, simple as that. So they have to buy from other regions.

The average bonus across the entire UK was £1600 last year. And of course pay rises are common, even if just to keep up with inflation. Expect these numbers to be higher in the tech industry. Software engineers can expect 15-20% bonuses depending on skillset and domain. I'm sorry if you've incorrectly projected your poor job perks onto everyone else.

So in summary, your comment consists of just lies and personal attacks.

Studios close for a myriad of reasons. People buying cheaper "grey market" digital games online is unlikely to be a major contributing factor particularly since for a lot of those people the alternatives would be to wait for a heavily discounted sale price or piracy.

No, that happened cause EA ruin good developers, just look at what happened to Criterion, Black Box, SMS, Maxis when they were bought or directed by EA.

Maxis were never that good to be fair. A classic games industry one trick pony just like Gearbox.

Expired they put price up.

I did a bit more digging around. Apparently this key distributor on neogaf claims that the publishers allow him to sell keys to grey market resellers when they need to hit sales targets.

Sites like cdkeys source from cheaper regions but also sell with a lower profit margin. This chap claims that pubs must be fine with the likes of cdkeys due to communication between them. Steam as we know take 30% per sale. That's £12 from a £40 new release. Not saying Steam shouldn't be supported considering they provide the platform and bandwidth. But that is quite a cut.

So question is, what would an AAA dev/pub actually prefer; That one buy on launch from a grey market [provided the keys aren't stolen] or to buy on a Steam sale many months after release? Because tbh, I wouldn't spend more than £20/£25 a game. And the only time this game will hit that price point on official platforms is during a sale many months after its release.
