Hard to go wrong for just 45p for the GOTY in my view.

Description
Unreal Tournament is the original King of the Hill in the frag-or-be-fragged multiplayer gaming world. As the undisputed 1999 Game of the Year, Unreal Tournament grabbed the first person shooter genre by the soiled seat of its pants and knocked it around the room with its never-before-seen graphics, brutal edge-of-your-seat gameplay and a massive and varied feature list that gave gamers more than they ever expected.

  • Novice Mode - This Botmatch competition is where new flak fodder hit boot camp. The Novice setting makes the computer controlled Bots in the game move slower and inflict less damage with their attacks. For those new to first person shooters, this is where teeth are cut, skills are born and addiction begins...
  • Hardcore Mode - Strap on extra armor and have a hand towel next to your mouse pad to wipe away the palm sweat. This mode is only for the pros -- all of the bots move like lightning -- dodging, jumping and inflicting A LOT more damage with their standard attacks than do their Novice counterparts.
  • Enhanced Bot AI - Bots in Unreal Tournament play as if they're jacked up on a big old shot of steroids. Their basic deathmatching skills have been virtually perfected, their understanding of the game rules is professorial, their ability to navigate levels is GPS-like, and their threat to your existence is very real.
  • Radio Chatter - Each of the commands at your disposal in the game is accompanied by both a text message on screen AND an audio message. Pleas for back-up or for cover fire are accompanied by pre-recorded sequences communicating your needs. Making this especially cool is the fact that you can hear your opponents' messages too (even if you're playing against bots 'cause bots are people, too).

If thats not enough, you can also pick up the entire pack for £1.72 - again easily the best sub £2 set of games money can potentially buy in my view.

The Pack Includes

Unreal 2: The Awakening
You are John Dalton, an ex-Marine assigned to patrol the edge of human space as a Marshal for the Terran Colonial Authority. Unexpectedly, your monotonous life is shattered by a chilling distress signal, plunging you into an adventure beyond belief.
Violent turmoil among the races has erupted on your watch. Thrust into a conflict that will determine the fate of the galaxy, you are humanity's only hope for salvation. Only you can prevent the Awakening.

Unreal Gold
Your prison ship has crash-landed on the fastest, sleekest, most dangerous 3D world ever created. Look around, crystal clear water shimmers, shadows dance and shift, alien architecture fades into the horizon. Discover the secret of this mysterious planet and find out what caused a peaceful race to be enslaved by vicious merciless aggressors.

Unreal Tournament 2004: Editor's Choice Edition
Unreal Tournament 2004 is a multiplayer first person shooter that combines the kill-or-be-killed experience of gladiatorial combat with cutting-edge technology. Ten game modes - both team-based and "every man for himself" -- provide even the most hardcore gamer with palm-sweating challenges through unbelievably detailed indoor arenas and vast outdoor environments. As the ultimate techno-gladiator of the future, players will take their fates into their hands, battling against up to 32 other players online in action-packed, frag-filled arenas.

Unreal Tournament 3 Black
Unreal Tournament 3 marks the return of the world's premiere first-person shooter. Unreal Tournament 3 unleashes the full power of Unreal Engine 3, taking graphics, gameplay, and challenge to a whole new level. Players engage in intense battles with other human players online, or against Unreal artificial intelligence that sets the industry standard. With the most powerful futuristic weapons and vehicles available, this is FPS action at its best!

Unreal Tournament: Game of the Year Edition
Unreal Tournament is the original King of the Hill in the frag-or-be-fragged multiplayer gaming world. As the undisputed 1999 Game of the Year, Unreal Tournament grabbed the first person shooter genre by the soiled seat of its pants and knocked it around the room with its never-before-seen graphics, brutal edge-of-your-seat gameplay and a massive and varied feature list that gave gamers more than they ever expected. Novice Mode - This Botmatch competition is where new flak fodder hit boot camp.

Hope it helps someone.

Amazing price for incredible games which had a huge impact on my life.

I run UT99 servers and there is still a strong community of players out there. My servers are for a gametype called BT (BunnyTrack), where the maps are like an assault course - you focus on movement, shooting, and problem-solving to make it through them alive.

It takes a little bit of practice to get into, but there are literally thousands of BT maps and loads of them are absolutely incredible and unlike anything I've ever seen in any other game to date. Literally better than the likes of Portal etc.

Here's an example (fullscreen recommended and sorry it's a bit dark):

If anyone wants to give BT a try, just launch UT99, go to Multiplayer -> Open Location and type in bunnytrack.net. You can then see some helpful information and recommended maps sorted by difficulty by saying !vote in the chat (press T and type !vote). There's a tutorial map called BT-AnIntroToBT which I recommend new players try first, to learn the basics.

You can also see more info at the website: bunnytrack.net/ or join our Discord channel via bunnytrack.net/dis…rd.

My name in-game is Dizzy. If you see me playing, say hi, or if you want an introduction to BT, message me on Discord.

BT wouldn't be my cup of tea but I love that the game still has a dedicated fanbase. I played the hell out of standard UT IG back then, pretty sure it was my first online MP game.

I hear you! My mates and I had so many LAN parties playing Instagib. We adored this game. Still have my physical copy of the UT on PC.
U1, UT99 and UT2004 were the best.
We need a full remake of U1 and UT4 finished.
Can you buy it without signing up for a gamers gate account?

Ah you were to one who made those maps! I used to love playing those maps - although on UT3 - where I had played the game for 10 years. They were so fun and challenging! I appreciate the genius behind the map!

You got point!
One of my fave games of all time this

I'd be well up to try some of that I'll join soon 🏾
Nearly failed uni because of UT.

Spent hours of my life versus other students and mates I'm my halls of residence.
Anyone remember the Hall of Giants map? I loved UT
Yes a UT99 revival.
My PC isn't powerful enough to run the latest games. To be honest i much prefer 8 bit, 16bit, late 90s and early 00s games.

Ah Kronick. A rushing legend!
Fantastic series, many hours lost to GOTY and to LAN party 2k4. Absolute bargain, heat added
UT99 was the first game that got me into PC gaming, back in my college days. Was never that great at it but boy was it fun, would play with mates until morning, for several years. One of my top 5 games of all time.
UT was The game.

Haha, we need to hear from one person who did fail for playing this until 6 in the morning on the day of their final exams.

Brilliant game! They don't make them like this anymore!
Some of us played LAN games at work on UT. Probably the best gaming fun I've ever had running around Deck 16 chasing workmates with the Redeemer.
thanks that's awesome. Used to play ut2004 almost non stop. invasion servers were the best!
So many hours, days playing this with my friends... So many miles traveled for some lan parties... 20 years later and I'm actually meeting a couple of clan mates tomorrow for dinner! Amazing. Cheers.
I miss the original Unreal (1998) with the creepy monsters haha

aaaaahhh me too!

Don't suppose you recognize the name Transparent (or TraNs)?
I've still got a folder kicking around with loads of screenshots of the clan matches we played. I can't believe my parents let me spend so long playing that game.
One of my favourite games. I miss the tammy and jolt public servers and 5v5 pugs on mirc and ofc clan wars. I was an instagib player. Loaded it back up the other day and their only two servers with a few people...
