Thanks for your deal. I've added the price to your title and the image for you

it may be a deal in the sense that you get more money for what you pay, but what mug buys directly off steam or origin anyway? How can I buy keys off unnamed sites that sell perfectly legal keys, yet they sometimes cost as much as 50% less. Just bought the evil within for £8.53 while steam claim they have it discounted down to £20 and its normally £40. rip off

This is a deal for me because dlc for the PC version of guitar game Rocksmith is only available from Steam (and Ubisoft?) as far as I'm aware. Now all I need is for Steam to have another dlc sale with 40% off.

Well, now's the time to buy. You can't get these during the Steam sales e.g. Halloween or Christmas.

This and some steam version of games cannot be bought from 3rd party vendors at all. For example, if you want *steam version* of Tamriel unlimited, then you really have to buy from steam. I can't find it on say G2A etc.

cold cheaper by 5 english pounds in an instant (not) downloads.

Let's see how that works for you if you want GTAV on steam (_;).

Then there is also DLC which a lot of them time can only be bought from the steam store, generally I'd agree that you can get things much cheaper than on there but there are a lot of scenarios where you can't and this is the only way to get an extra discount in those cases.

I paid £43.69 for this 3 days ago and used it to buy Rocket League and GTA V when it was on the short lived discount. If I had bought these outright I would have paid £41.69 so now I pretty much get to spend the remains on a free game.

I agree that other sites sell the same games usually cheaper and that the RRP is ridiculous but steam do not choose the RRP and just like any competitive market steam proved cheaper on some deals during the summer sales whilst others did for different games..admitedly less however they sell more. The issue I have with your comment is this, if you want an opinion on the market thats fine but don't label people mugs for using it in the way they want.

Heat added from said mug.

How do I get this deal?

Steam sales are now uncompetitive on nearly every game especially newly released vs 3rd party. I can't put where cheaper as it keeps getting deleted but is 35 squid in a "instant"

For the most part, prices are cheaper than at Steam if you buy from smaller sites or bend the rules with places like Nuuvem.

Nicely done, but I believe that is for 50 Euros credit, not £50 GBP. 50 Euros works out at about £35.41 according to Google.

thats was the point i was making. sadly those who would prefer to buy directly off steam dont see these deals from 3rd party markets, and dislike the branding of mug

@ alterius you are correct my eyes deceived me. Could buy andcwait for euro to recover back to 2008 levels and pound parity .... Maybe not.

Click link > Add item to basket > Like on Facebook > On Facebook page click the "Link for 5% off!" > Input code into coupon section and hit apply = 5% off > Checkout.

Be aware that the 5% code only lasts for a short time so I wouldn't dilly dally around with payment.

don't forget 2% quidco to knock another 80p off...

Exactly. Plus there are games you can't get anywhere else; like Subnautica (which I thoroughly recommend if you are after an underwater crafting survival game).

Hot from me, plenty of games that are only on Steam. You could use it of course to save yourself some money on the Steam Link due Nov 10th.
