The Steam deals are a bit lame recently. Not very attractive to buy the pack if you already own some of them.

Still waiting for a 50% off Trine deal

I voted hot, these are great games, even rivalling big budget titles IMO. For those who have yet to try any of these games, don't let the word 'indie' put you off!

It's a great pack, so long as you don't already own any of the titles.

Sadly I already own the big ones so it's not worth it for me, but maybe it will suit someone..?

Audiosurf, Crayon Physics and World of Goo are ace! Not going to buy them again though. lol.

I already own Audiosurf/World of Goo; if I bought this package, would I then get codes to give my "second copy" of those games to friends? The Orange Box did something like that with second copies of Half Life 2/Episode 1.

should be pick and mix really

I have a few of these titles and will be leaving the deal as I'm not buying dupes again

That was only for the orange box to encourage people to buy it.

I keep waiting for a good deal on L4D (hum'n'hared over the last one), maybe the closer it gets to L4D2..but then it kinda loses the point in buying it then.

Meh, if I hadn't just bought braid.... and didn't already own darwinia, it would have been a no-brainer purchase (despite my loathing of steam)

No, as far as I know that was only the Orange Box and GTA games. These digital distribution schemes need to grow up and stop trying to rip customers off with artificial scams like this.

(That said, they're good deals for the very few people who are interested in these kind of games yet somehow missed all the other deals on them.)

This is the sort of thing that Little Big Plant should have been.

It was sold as a Triple A title when it was really just a quirky 'indie' style game.

Like everyone else said, these are great deals... as long as you don't already own some of the games in the pack. If steam would allow me to "gift" my spare games to others then I would be more than willing to buy and then decide what to do with them, but as it stands, no purchase from me.

voted hot. good deal. bought the higher value pack.

Like as has already been said - most users of steam already have these games - if you haven't - where have you been????

If I could pick 5 out of the 10 or gift duplicates then Steam would have my money by now. Unfortuanately I own too many of the titles for it to be worth it.

They've done it with other games too, but it's rare. Personally I think the best solution would be to do what Good Old Games is doing at the moment. The are selling the Enlight collection for $25 but if you already own some games in the pack you only have to buy the games you don't own to get the discount.

I'm sure Steam's current policy must put people off buying games when they come out because they think that eventually they will be in a deal and don't want to end up paying twice. Equally it puts people off buying a pack if they already own a game in it and annoys their loyal customers.

Still a good deal if you don't own any of the games though. I only owned World of Goo and got that at a decent discount so it was still worth buying the pack for the other games.

Still on the fence, will probably leave it as I also have a few of them and the ones I want feel like they add up to around that price anyway, without the deal.

I'll reconsider buying indie titles on their own in weekend deals though, that's for sure.

Iv got not indie games so i thought i'd try them.
bought the 10 pack and is very enjoyable!
Voted hot!

Never tried em. I like games that don't require much attention and sound nice. I haven't heard of Gish. Isn't Braid the one that's on Xbox?

World of goo is great but like most of you on here I don't want to buy it again - I would if I could gift it to someone.
