Damn, another tempting game deal - I've been waiting for this to come down in price! There's just so many good games coming out in the next few weeks though - it's gonna be hard on the wallet and then hard to find the time to play them all!

h+r from me...

You mean you'll have time to spare when Dragon Age comes out?

Epic game, does anyone want to play online? It's best when you actually communicate with the people that you are playing with, in my experience.

You also need an epic pc to play this with an epic graphics card to play it in all it's glory.

You need an epic PC/ gfx to just run it, let alone play it.

Nope. The CPU is more important to this game than the GPU. I'm running just fine with a 30 month old 8800GTX.

this game is garbage... only a good deal if its around £5-£8. Soo buggy, you wont get any value out of it... mine's been sat on the shelf since week 1 since launch.... check the reviews... google arma 2 bugs...

Some major patches released to fix these bugs since week 1. Still not going to blow you away but maybe worth it at that price.

I paid 14.99 for this from GAME during launch week. Haven't really touched it much. The best part of this game is the armory where you get to run around as a chicken. Theres even an obstacle course for goats.

Is this FPS pls ?

Utterly rubbish!Try to run that game on iCore 7 965 Extreme with Intel Extreme 955 (integrated) .
Let's see your average fps. This game require beefy PC.Newest GFX cards in SLI (GTX 285)or Crossfire (ATI HD5870) and iCore 7 Intel or AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 , 965 processors. You run fine but I bet without max details and with resolution lower than 1680x1050 or 1920x1200.

well no, its not rubbish. he said the CPU was more important, not that the GPU didnt matter.

you have actually failed to list a GPU in your example. you've listed 2 CPU's. assuming you meant integrated graphics, well even the best integrated graphics dont come close to touching a 8800GTX. not close.

he's right. a good CPU is essential. you can put in 2 5870's if you like, 2 of them by the way would have been considered a supercomputer a few years ago. but its not gonna help if the CPU cant keep up. and the codinmg decisioons made when the game was developed means that it needs a god CPU, as well as a decent graphics card.

for the record, a 2.4ghz quad core, 4 GB of RAM and a 4870 with 512MB of RAM, which is what i'm running it on now, can do medium settings at 1920x1080 with a FPS rate in the 40's. i know cause thats what i get. with some tweaking.

also its not iCore 7, its Core i7. and the closest thing out there to Intel Extreme 955 is a 4 year old single core CPU.

i'm sorry but you seem rather ill informed on the subject.

He said its more than GPU so I mentioned irony with comparison to integrated GFX . My info is not ill maybe my keyboard. What you should say is this game benefits also from very good CPU not to mention from good GPU as well. Btw try to read more carefully next time.

lol @ sli 285 or 5870 to run a game....if that was the case they wouldent sell many copies.
