LOL must be me but the picture say 3 for £25.04 but my bill came up to 26.21

Mystifies me why these Steam deals get hot. You can get PHYSICAL copies of ALL these titles for the same price or LESS - depending on wether you go for new or used -so what makes a download such a bargain!?

Heres an example. I got Morrowind GOTY edition ages ago (used) for 99p in gamestation, it was mint. Nice box art, proper disk, manual and disk art etc. Even now you'd be hard pushed to find it for more than £2.99 used.

Fair point, mate. I got STALKER, Company of Heroes and Crysis recently for about £6 on Ebay (in total).

Convenience basically.

..and laziness if you ask me. :-D

I love tracking down older games at bargain prices. Buying the digital Steam version also takes that miniscule bit of fun away!

There you go, perfect example mate. Great buys also mate

If a game is cheap enough I will get it on Steam as then I don't have discs knocking about all over the place. Also really easy to install on new PCs or on more than one PC.

I can kinda' see the convenience of that, but still mate, I've yet to buy a game that I could not get a No-DVD or No-CD patch for.

Nothing beats an ever growing stack of lovingly coveted games on a shelf if you ask me! ;-)

I agree with ya, although I have bought GTA: VC, 4, MaxPayne1+2, Stalker, and Bioshock from Steam. All on the cheap though.

Best example was Killing Floor. Mate bought it for £20, I got it, hard copy for £7. He was baffled where I bought it for much cheaper than Steam :-D

Fallout 3 - great game!

Added bonus is you'll never lose your games.

True enough. You can't actually lose something you don't exactly own. When steam goes t!ts up, you'll only know then for sure though.

The biggest problem is, as I've just experienced, you get a new computer, resinstall your games over days - then BT cut your broadband, despite being unlimited.

Cheers, BT!
